My FI proposed on our 4 year anniversary the same exact way he asked me to be his gf. It was entirely a surprise, and he picked out the ring all on his own. It couldn't be more perfect! Love all the gorgeous rings you ladies have!

I agree with Tink. The Majestic Colonial is where I will be having my wedding in August 2013. I did a ton of research and they come highly recommended on every website. Plus there are a ton of pictures on TripAdvisor.com of the resort, and the Wedding Coordinator sent me some pics for wedding options and they all look incredible. It is a huge resort so plenty of people can come and have a lot to do. Plus the Colonial is family friendly, so if little kids were coming there would be a great place right next door. Hope this helps!

My wedding is not until August 2013 either and I will not be dress shopping until November. Most people have told me that most places need around 6 months if you need to have your gown ordered. So, I would say we have plenty of time When in August are you getting married? Mine will be August 24th!

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum, and I have to agree with a lot of the other brides-to-be on this forum. The information on here is a HUGE help! My FI and I are getting married August 24, 2013 at 6PM on the beach at the MC. I guess since it is their off season it was not very difficult to get a Saturday and get a symbolic ceremony in the evening. I am glad that it will be later though since it is SUPER hot around that time of year. I just emailed them about a week ago and gave them the last three Saturdays in August and they only responded with one date and one time. So, I would definitely encourage anyone looking to get married there to email them ASAP. We are anticipating around 40 guests or so. I have been in contact with the WC, but my TA will be booking all of the rooms. We are planning to do the free dinner reception after the wedding at one of their restaurants. Should I put in for a reservation now? Also, any thoughts on their spa and how talented they are at doing hair and makeup for the wedding? We are soooooo excited for our wedding! August 2013 cannot come soon enough!!
