  1. I am interested in the pomanders if you still have them.
  2. Coral is the main color I chose as well. I am having a little bit of a problem - because there are so many different shades of coral. What I really want is a bright and vibrant coral color - and something what I am finding is that some of the coral colors are more dead. I am looking for bridesmaid dresses right now, and have found so many cute styles - but I have my mind set on a particular color and its so hard to find - especially that summer is over now. I also want to use gold as an accent to the bright coral - I think it will look very pretty.
  3. I am getting married in Punta Cana and I want to play a lot of reggaeton and upbeat dancing music. Since the reception is only going to last 3 hours, I want there to be lots of dancing.
  4. I never even realized that we should play music while signing papers...thanks everyone!
  5. I am getting married in Punta Cana, DR and I believe we are getting charged $500 for about 10 minutes for the fire dancers. I think it is very pricey - but at the same time it seems like it would be great entertainement for the guests!
  6. Lynne, I am getting married at the Majestic Colonia in Punta Cana, DR next year. I have never been, but some friend have and they said it was amazing! Also, the resort has fantastic reviews. Check it out, and let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to try and answer them.
  7. Thanks for sharing, I was wondering about the decoraton fees. I guess if you plan on having a lot of decorating, it's worth it!
  8. Miss Bubbles, I was thinking of doing a welcome dinner as well. Most of our group is arriving on Friday, and our weddign is on Monday. I think I would like to do the welcome dinner on Saturday night, that way the whole group can get acquainted and we can all enjoy some time together. I was thinking about passing out the OOTS bags at that time too, but then I think I want to give them out the day we arrive, so that people can get as much use out of them. I think I will ask my WC to reserve a table in the buffet restaurant, that way there is more choice in food for everyone. I dunno....I wish I was better at making decisions! lol
  9. We are doing our AHR two weeks after we arrive home from the DR. I have to be really good about getting everything organized beforehand, so that when we come back I dont end up having a ton of things to worry about. We are doing a full on reception. We found a banquet hall and we are gonna have a sit down dinner, open bar, a dj, the whole deal. So basically I am planning two weddings - but I figure this is a once in a lifetime thing - so gotta do it up big!
  10. good job ladies! I wanna do a "do not disturb" sign as well and will most likely do it with Vistaprint. I hope we will be able to personalize with our monogram!
  11. hehe, to be honest I didnt even think about making the guys bags different - We have a lot of couples attending and that bag will be geared more for the girl I guess, but for the single guys it is a good idea to put some "guy stuff".
  12. I signed up with Vistaprint and have been getting a few eamils here and there - but nothing free. I really look forward to using Vistaprint as much as possible for printing stickers and cards, etc and hopefully the prices will still be good.
  13. Those are nice! I was thinking of getting the drawstring bags for the guys and cute canvass totes for the girls. Those would be perfect.
  14. Thanks for sharing ladies, I've been looing out for the tote bags and Canada's selection is so much smaller. I'm thinking maybeb a shopping trip to the US is called for?! Hehehe
  15. I also am very worried about how to get all the OOT stuff to our destination. But it's definetly something I want to do for our guests! I will try to get the help of our parents and have everyone put a little bit of the stuff in their luggage/carry-on. Hopefully that will alleviate the load!
  16. I like the wrist ones too, but I think the neck lanyards may be more useful?? I dunno!
  17. I still havent purchased my OOTY bags and I keep checking palces, but it seems to be more difficult in Canada. Love your bags though!
  18. I still have to wait until I can open attachments...I forget how many posts I have to have first
