  1. I was waffling too and ultimately decided yes to OOT bags and so far it's been one of my most fun projects to do. I ordered 50 canvas tote bags from VistaPrint. These will be printed with the logo I designed below on them. Found a great coupon on retailmenot.com and got 50% off and free shipping on these. Yay! Then I will be filling them with: - welcome letter to guests - postcards I created on Zazzle.com and a pen - plastic tumblers with straws from discountmugs.com - Oh Sh*t Kit: (shout wipes, emergen-c, advil, pepto, alka-seltzer, band-aids, aloe, hand sanitizer, chap stick, tissues, altoids) - customized matches with our names/wedding date (this is so guests can light their wish lanterns on the beach after the wedding) - a little bag that will have graham crackers, a marshmallow and chocolate so guests can make s'mores at the bonfire the first night, which is when I'll be giving the bags out. logo for tote bag:
  2. UPDATE! I sold 5 of these, so now only 5 are left! Any takers, just let me know! Hello! I have 5 purple pomanders for sale. Purchased these from Etsy and they are super cute. I planned to put these on shepherd's hook lining the aisle but recently decided to splurge on real flowers. They'd be great for flower girls or as centerpieces when placed in bowls/vases. Each pomander measures 5" ( 12 cm ) across and is 15" ( 38 cm ) around. Finished with a 5" ( 13 cm ) satin ribbon hanger. I paid $12/ea for 10 of these, plus shipping from Canada, which cost me $148 total. Will sell these for $10/ea and free shipping if in the US, so you'd get 5 for $50. PM me for any other info/pics! Thanks!
  3. Such an awesome and thoughtful gift! I basically have to tell my fiance exactly what I want or I get giftcards. LOL. Love him, he's just not gifted when it comes to gifts! Have tons of fun at the show! Here's hoping you win a prize of some sort!
  4. It's driving me nuts! So much of the planning and DIY stuff depends on that final headcount. Money for our hotel rooms is due by Feb 22, 2013 so I still have a bit of time. But that number also affects our budget since our wedding package is for 20 people and we pay extra for every person over that. So far we have about 22 people who have sent in RSVP cards, but hardly anyone has actually reserved a room. And I'm still waiting on many more RSVP cards. Argh!
  5. I actually had a mini freak out yesterday when I realized I only have 16 weeks to do everything. I still have to: get my dress altered, choose rings, FI needs to get his suit (been bugging him about this for months), finalize music, write vows, finish DIY projects and OOT bags (have been waiting on final RSVP number for this) and lose 15 pounds. No big deal! Ahhh!
  6. I'm a Secrets bride and they don't have tipping either. The all inclusive price includes all taxes and tips. You're welcome to tip a dollar or two if you had exceptional service and you want to, but it's already included so it's not necessary. As for the decor, I like the sleek and modern vibe so that worked out for me. To each her own! Hope you have an amazing wedding!
  7. Mine is at 4pm. Thought this would allow for a variety of photos since I can get some in daylight, some at sunset, and some night shots.
  8. You're welcome! I think I am going to get him a nice watch too.
