  1. Ombre is a very popular trend this year and we've seen it pop up in food, fashion, and everything in between. The best part about ombre is that you can use it on any color palette-- just vary the shades to achieve the overall look! Blues and greens are especially striking near the crystal clear water at destination beach weddings, but you really can't go wrong with any color theme! We've seen so many fun and creative ideas for how to incorporate the trend into weddings, so without further ado here are some of our favorite pics. 2. I still haven't done this and I leave in less than 3 weeks! Eek! I have it on the to-do list though...
  3. Best idea ever! I wish I'd seen this or thought of it! Do you have a copy of the video you put together?
  4. Not sure about that particular resort, but most usually charge a set up fee. It shouldn't be too much! And I'm guessing the WC isn't replying to you just yet because you've got more than a year to go and she is busy with other brides. Typically they reach out a few months before to finalize everything, and I've noticed that their response time also gets better the closer you get to the wedding. Hope that helps! Happy planning!
  5. Love these! I think they would be super cute as favors at each place setting. If you throw them in the gift bags with all the other fun stuff they may not get noticed as much, but they definitely will as an after dinner treat!
  6. Yeah I think it totally depends. I've been to events well in advance, and some just before. I wasn't going to have a bridal shower at all but friends kept asking so I finally caved and let 2 friends plan something, but because I wasted so much time saying no we're going to have it 2 weeks before the wedding.
  7. Also, here is what the finished bags look like! Kinda hard to tell here but they look great in person!
  8. Super easy! I just made it in MS Word. I first Googled free fonts and found one I liked, then downloaded it. This one is called Dreamland and for some reason it looked Jamaican to me. I also Googled images of purple palm trees, found that one, and just added it to a blank word doc then typed Jamaica below in my new font and wedding colors.
