  1. I just tried gel for the first time and while it really doesn't chip, I am starting to get annoyed that you can see the growth at the top and the fact that I have to go back to the salon to get it removed. With regular polish once it chips or grows out I just remove it at home until I have time to go back and get them done again. Since I haven't had it removed yet I can't say if it's done any damage to my nails. Time will tell I guess!
  2. 1. Haha no worries! The pommanders were supplied by the florist, Tai Flora. They were $85 each and we had 10. Kinda pricey but since they were decoration for both the ceremony and reception we went for it. 2. The crystals were also from Tai Flora. I purchased the purple fabric online and brought it with me, and they added the crystals. For some reason that teensy little chuppa cost $500. Might want to look into bringing your own crystals too and see if that cuts down on the cost at all! Thanks!! I bought the bowls at Ikea and brought them with me. Here are the ones we used: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10212884/ Thank you!
  3. Here are some pics from the reception! This should give an idea of the setup of the whole area and then the centerpieces (which were the pommanders I had along the aisle for the ceremony, placed into bowls...) Thank you, that is so sweet!! I did! Going to post some, still going through them! Here are some pics of the chivari chairs if you care to see how they look without decorations and just fans.
  4. Glad you liked it! And if your name means Coral, you definitely have to use it somehow!! I will issue a small warning now that I'm back. I didn't wrap these in anything since I figured they were already in boxes and in the middle of my other packed items. Several of them broke, but since it's coral and looks irregular to begin with guests couldn't tell if a piece fell off here or there. I knew, but no one else would ever have noticed. The topper part that actually goes into the wine bottle was fine, it just seems that if you're not careful with how you wrap these then parts of the coral may break off in transit. Still a great deal and super cute and worth it, but just wanted to let you know!
  5. Everything came together beautifully and you look stunning!! I have always loved the combo of yellow and gray so I love everything you did!
  6. Yikes that's crazy that they are already brooked almost a year in advance! I am not super familiar with the area, but are you using or having you considered a travel agent? They would probably be super helpful in this situation since they have agents who are familiar with specific areas/resorts and can offer suggestions. You may want to try Wright Travel-- I used them for my wedding a couple of months ago and they were fantastic!! Whatever you do, good luck!! P.S.--it's run by the same people who run BDW if that gives you more peace of mind! http://www.wrighttravelagency.com/ https://www.facebook.com/WrightTravelAgency
  7. Congrats on narrowing it down! Let us know how your plans shape up!!
  8. My bouquet was $360 and it consisted of: Purple vanda orchids, purple hydrangeas, purple lisianthus, purple calla lilies w/ bear grass accents. Loved it!
