Hello ladies! Even though I am no longer having a destination wedding I still look at this site every day. I am so happy with how our wedding is coming along at home but my heart breaks a little when I think about not having my feet in the sand on my wedding day. It is for the best though... My mom was dignosed with lung cancer two months ago and we thought it would be easier for her if we just had it at home. We will just have to have an amazing honeymoon to make up for it anyways since before I even got engaged I loved looking at everyone's wedding dress on here and couldn't wait to post mine when I finally got engaged and found my dress. I figured I would still post it on here.

Thank you so much everyone!! I already feel so much closer to all of you now then anyone else in my life right now. No one that I've told (even if it has been very little) has been excited for me at all. You all know how excited I am because you are going through the same thing I am. When I told my sister/MOH I booked the day and when we will probably fly out the first thing she said to me was, "You expect me to fly back on Friday the 13th?". I replied with "Well yes I guess everyone will be, is that a problem?" and she said "We'll see when it's closer to the date" so I said "You're kidding right? This has to be a joke." and she said "It's Friday the 13th..." Umm... What?! Are you kidding me. I couldn't believe she said that!!! But anyways I just wanted to say thanks you everyone for being happy for me and I'm sorry for posting that here I know it should be in the venting section but I just needed the get that off my chest!!
