FYI. I ordered custom postage stamps through Canada Post last week. Put a cute pic of our dog! Plan on using them on the RSVP envelopes. They arrived today and look awesome! Better than expected! So fast!! I am so happy and they were so easy to do. Yes, they do turn out to be about $1 per stamp but I think they are worth it. I may even order some with pics of us at the wedding to use on the "thank you" cards.

My WC is also Amanda. She told me this when I booked 6 weeks ago. I thought it sounded strange. Maybe it has something to do with Signature Vacations being our travel company.

tkuzma. I've been told that the Free Sweet Wedding package is not available to Canadians so I chose the Pearl and am thinking the same as you for the add-ons. I don't need the private dinner, etc because we are there with friends and family for one week and plan on enjoying their company. We'll do the couples thing for our honeymoon week at another resort. So, are you sure you can do the Free Sweet Wedding??

I'm debating between Plaza Zavas and Zocalo Alfresco for the reception too. Originally, I wanted Plaza Zavas because I have seen so many beautiful pictures of this location but I'm thinking that Zocalo might be a little cooler with the breeze near the ocean and my father minds the heat. Does anyone know where I can see pictures of Zocalo Alfresco?? I can't envision what the decor looks like and I did see that someone posted on their review that it was gold and burgundy (doesn't really go with my wedding vision). I'm planning on having the wedding at 5pm on the beach, skipping the formal cocktail hour, with reception to follow at Zocalo Alfresco (which is the closest location to the ceremony site). I figure people can make their own cocktail time by going to the Zocalo bar and helping themselves or they can freshen up and get some A/C in their room for the short time that we will take to get some pictures.

Hi, This is my first post.....we got engaged March 31st while on vacation at the Azul Sensatori!!! A complete surprise - but really, we have been together for almost 7 years now! I've been on lots of all-inclusive trips but the AS blew me away and I'm trying to plan our wedding there for March/April 2013. Waiting for my TA to get back to me about the group cost - I hope it works out!! I've definitely been able to get lots of good ideas from all of you while reading through the posts the last few nights. Does anyone have any advice on purchasing the wedding packages through Karisma (eg. pearl, silver, gold). It seems like most of you put a lot off work into everything and I'm hoping to let the resort do most of that. It is so beautiful there already and they do such a great job that I'm hoping I can allow them to do most of this for me. Also, we became vacation club members (Exotic Travelers) and I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with this! I know there are some definite perks included in the club that will come in handy when planning our wedding (eg. spa discounts, excursion discounts, etc...)
