UK Brides - Wedding Insurance? Who have you gone with for your Wedding insurance? This totally slipped my mind so not done anything yet but I am going round th the twist reading all the options available. Any feedback appreciated Thank you Kirstin x

Hi Nic I don't recall seeing those last 2 restaurants. All of the a la cartes are great, I'm a sucker for fish so went there a few times - fruits de mar & pescador. The Brazilian, Gran Tortuga is amazing - starve yourself all day when you are going there as there is such an assortment of meat you will want to try them all. The Chinese, Mikado is great - make sure to book at a show table so all the cooking is done in front of you. Enjoy Kirstin x

Ladies if you look on the Arricefe facebook page I put a shout out for ladies that had used them to give me their thoughts, some feedback is on the Arricefe page for public reading. The ladies were lovely and I befriended them on fb and looked at their photos and they have answered all my varying questions and forwarded my the current price list. I am happy with the prices and all the photos I looked at from the ladies and we are going ahead with them for our wedding next June. Had it been feasible and cost effective to fly in a photographer we would of considered this but coming from Scotland you can imagine the cost!! If you don't want to go down the route of the above I can may answer any questions you have and if you send me a private email I could send you the prices. Kirstin x

Yes Christy it's a bit confusing, you must take a buggy and that's what the cost is for, the charge is per person for buggy hire refreshment including beers and snacks on the course. Hope this helps Kirstin 😄

Well that's me received my hangers and have to say NOT impressed at all! Bridesmaids Names should be Stacey - it says Steucy the other should say Gaynor - it says Gueynar ... Also asked for wedding date in style 20 June 13 I am in Scotland so wanted the date right for my dress (bride) so she made the hangar 6 20 13 - not what i asked for! None of the hangars had ribbons. Going to see if we can pull apart and re-do correctly, at least they didnt cost a fortune. Lesson learnt - pay cheap, pay dear!!

Christy We are giving the guests personalised fans, they will be handy during the service but more so in the evening in restaurants.

Beth On holiday I dont wear my jewellery out during the day but put it in the room safe, however one morning before heading out for the day I forgot too!!! When we went back the room that afternoon it was all laying where I had left it engagement ring, other rings, necklace, bracelet watch etc. Next year will be our 4th visit to the hotel and I have never heard of any problems on previous visits or from any friends when they have returned. Susan your photos are beautiful but I cant watch your video as You Tube is saying the video is not available As with everything in life people have different opinions on Arrecife photos so please can I pick your brain . . . . . we get married 20 June and have booked through a UK Tour Operator our holiday and wedding package altogether - we get 10 photos with the package but clearly will want more. I want to be organised and would prefer to have an idea of how much photos are going to be etc, the prices on this forum are from 2010 so there will have been an increase of some size I am sure. Do you get the option of colour and black & white photos? Did you buy the CD with all the photos - if you did are they free from watermark so you can print at home also can the photos on CD be enlarged etc with no problem due to pixel size. How soon do we get to see the photos after the wedding ? How long are the photographers with you, or are there different options available? Is there more than 1 photographer taking photos on the day? How much was the videographer and how long were they with you? It would make sense that Arrecife had on their website a pricelist with a breakdown of all the services they offer! @Fraggle42 We found the Avon Skin So Soft "Woodland Fresh" spray or body lotion (pale green bottle) worked great for most of us. For those that were bitten they put TCP or Vick vapour rub on the bites and the itch vanished. Kirstin

When do you fly out we are there 10>24 June - get married 4pm on 20 June 2013 When we booked with First Choice/Thomson we wrote onto the contract that we wanted the Tulum Gazebo. Hi Mexican Bride our wedding is booked for a 4pm service too, the sand isnt too hot so bare feet will be ok, this is what my bridesmaids are planning on. Flip flops take a wee bit of getting used to the toe post - its the same with any new shoes. All the best with your planning Kirstin x

ShannonMarie, I have order one with our wedding date as thought my future name would be too long and wouldn't look so good - Mrs Cruickshank I got a friend in the states to order it for me as wasnt too keen on the carriage cost for posting to Scotland!
