Crazy stuff eh, felt bad for harrassing her as I can only imagine how busy she is with the weddings each day let alone zillions of emails from a bridezilla - no I wasnt that bad !

I had thought about it but I would be a blubbering wreck and the photos would not be pretty. We will have it on our play list for background music when photos are being taken etc. Not long til its your turn hope you are not too stressed x

Awe thats brilliant, Im like you feel at ease and if a weight is off my shoulders, we are still torn between the restaurants - my sister is a vegetarian and doesnt eat fish so she is the spanner in our plans. Good luck with everything Kirstin x

it sure is was getting stressed about it as not had reply to email. They currently are doing 4 weddings a day at each location.

Canon D is the most beautiful tune ever, it was my dear grans favourite piece of music and I always associate it with her. Sadly she is no longer with us but hearing it always makes me smile, and brings back happy memories even though shedding a tear . Just listened to the Israel K version as never hear it before - amazing, it gave me goosebumps. Everyone loves Forest Gump x

We get married on 20 June this year having holidayed at the Bahia Principe chain of hotels for the last 18 years all over the world and hwe ave stayed at the Mayan Riveria Hotel twice before. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee after trying for the last hour and being on hold for so long I have been able to get through to and talk with Eugenia - godness knows what the phone bill will be like as calling from Scotland. I feel much more relaxed and this information she gave me will help and hopefully make both you ladies relax too. . . . . The Bahia are continually putting brides mind at ease regarding the confusion Travel Agents cause by giving FALSE information regarding having to get birth and divorce documents translated and legalised. There is NO requirement for any of the groom's documents to be translated or legalised this applies whether he HAS or HAS NOT been married before. If the bride has been married before and has reverted back to her maiden name, provided this is the name she travels on and is the name that is on her passport again there is NO requirement for any of the bride's documents to be translated or legalised The only time translation and legalistion is required is when a bride has divorced but kept her married name (Ive never heard of anyone doing this) Hope you breathe the sigh of relief that I did. Hi Tammy We are in Scotland and both are divorced, due to get married on 20 June this year. I have had a nightmare about getting info about this I have continually asked Eugina about this as First Choice told us we DID need to get all our documents translated and legalised however when Eugina has replied she has sent me different details about this so I am still no futher forward. I believe if the Bride or Groom have NOT been married before there is no need for translation. Even more money for us divorcee's!!

Yea you have to pay extra, we are doign this with our guests. Cant remember how much we were 2 years ago - no more than 18 USD PP tho

I was due to put the order in for my personalised items but cant do it til I know whats happending. We have family and friends arriving from Scotland the week after us so they can then have a weeks holiday on their own so we only have a few days leeway. It was all going so well until now . . .. HI You wont get to party on the beach for health and safety reasons for all concerned. When we were there 2 years ago there was a bridal party that decided to move from the pool area and go swimming in the sea later in the evening and someone got into trouble . . . .

Hi Nickie Congratulations, I thought we were a long time as getting married after 16 years together. Had conflicting reports as First Choice told us that birth certificates, marriage and divorce papers were needed and would have to be translated The hotel told us that we need passports and visitor travel cards for the bride, groom and 4 witnesses however both of us are divorced so waiting on hearing back if divorce papers are needed.
