Did you have your reception at the quiet pool by the fountain area or the relaxing pool on the far side of the resort away from the beach? We're trying to decide which pool is best for us. Thanks!!

We just received a response so I thought I would update you all. Good news for those with photographers traveling with them: "Regarding your question, as your photographer is part of your wedding and is staying in Now Larimar he is allowed in the resort. Should you have any quesitons, or comments, please feel free to contact us."

We got one from WBA, didn't say anything about it however in another email from the WC the footer of her email had that notice in Red. We sent a her a kind reply stating that we read that and that we had booked this all a year ago and it was too late for them to be implementing a policy like this. We will see what she replies but she's only getting one nice email, if they don't retract this policy at least for current bookings the next emails/phone calls will be going to the management of AMResorts.

The quality of the resort photographer is completely unrelvant to me. We have two photographers coming with us, they are booked and paid in full and we have a non-refundable deposit paid to them for several thousand dollars. I'm not really sure if our situation is subject to this policy as our photographers will be guests at the hotel for the entire stay and guests at our wedding. We booked this all last March so changing a policy now just does not seem legal, appropriate or even a possiblility in my eyes. I hope this gets resolved very quickly, please keep us posted and let us know if we can be involved in a 'group fight". We are emailing our WC as well.

Our wedding is April 16th - our photographers are coming with us, they are guests at the hotel, we are paying for their airfare, room, dinner, chairs etc... We booked them the same time we booked the hotel. I guess at this point if they were to tell us we could not use them I don't even know what I would say, its not an option. We booked last year, we have never heard this policy or one like it from any resort. Because they are guests I'm going to completely ignore this and not even mention it, they are now my cousins that happen to have really big cameras!

Does anyone know the difference between a minister and a pastor as far as these ceremonies go? We were told the pastor would perform a ceremony based around god and family which makes sense but she said nothing about the minister...

Hi Chocotaco, I couldn't find the stardream - crystal metallic on their site. I didn't even find anything with 105 lbs. Did you get the luggage tags from there too. Or did you just use another template in word? So you ordered the envelopes but you made your own sleeves? What template did you use for that? What size were your invites, sleeves and tags? Sorry for all the questions but I'm a little lost.

You did a fantastic job on those invites. They are the nicest ticket invites i've seen. I can't imagine how much work that was. Would i be able to make those using a Mac? I feel like by the time I get all the supplies it will cost me just as much as if I had someone do them for me. I only need 50 of them. How many did you make? Was it worth it?
