    Hi there- congrats on your recent wedding and thanks for your check-in post! Our main priority is having a ceremony on the beach and we are torn between the Beach and the Palladium. Can you tell me where your ceremony was and if it was on the beach, what the setting was like/privacy etc? Also - what is the best option for either dining on the beach or having the dancing/party on the beach, do you know? Thank you so much!! Sarah

    Hey Tara - I am not as far as you in my planning at all, but I did talk to an acquaintance who had their ceremony earlier in the day and she told her guests to go enjoy the pool for the afternoon and that everyone was meeting back for dinner at X o'clock, and she got back in her dress etc...     Hi there - great pics, thanks for sharing! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind clarifying for me the difference between the LH side of the resort vs the other side? Is one far from the beach? How private was your beach ceremony? One last one -where was your dinner - it looks like an amazing view! thanks so much, Sarah

    Hi there! I am just sending out a Save The Date email for now that just says "In July 2013, Sarah & Mike are getting married in Jamaica - exact dates and invitation to follow". Then when we have the resort and week picked, we will send out the actual invites b/c people will want to start putting their deposits down (hopefully!)... I would also be interested to hear other peoples ideas too tho! thanks, Sarah

    Hi CdnGirl - congrats on your recent nuptials!! We are also considering this resort for our wedding in 2013. Was the beach nice and is an actual beach ceremony feasible (and somewhat private)? Also, do you know if there's a big diff booking the LH side vs the regular GP? Thank you so much!! Sarah

    Hi Natalie-congrats on your recent nuptials!! Great photos! I am considering this hotel for July 2013. Do you know what the beach ceremony site is like? Also I am reading mixed reviews on the beach in general-is it decent?? We'd also like to have dinner after the ceremony on the beach - do you know if that is a possibility at GBP?     Thanks for the info... I heard that there is a snack bar on the beach that they set up for wedding dinners, do you know if that's true? So what makes the beach only so-so? The one thing that seems good is that the wedding site (gazebo OR beach) seems to be fairly private, compared to some other resorts, where there are people hangin around in their bathing suits!

    Hi Natalie-congrats to you!! Would you mind if I pick your brain? We are considering this resort for July 2013 but want a beach ceremony (ie not in the gazebo) and dinner set up on the beach.     Hi all, I am a brand-newbie to this site and it's great! We are looking for recommendations for family-friendly resorts in Jamaica; wedding July 2013. We want a beach (not gazebo) wedding and would also love to have our private dinner set up on the beach - any one know of any resorts that would be well suited for this? Thanks! Sarah
