  1. They also make an EXCELLENT Christmas gift for the parents when framed and presented nicely the Christmas before the wedding! Can you tell that's what we are doing? They're not the large prints, because they will get large wedding pictures but still a nice size. At least that's what we are doing. I also ordered different prints and made a photo album that I had at our engagement party. I think they're fun to have and will probably be something that you look back on one day! Also makes a nice gift for family who may be far away and can't make the pre-wedding festivities like the showers and things, so you send them a photo.
  2. I'm willing to take $3/each for these lights.
  3. Forgot to mention the dimensions. They are 8 x 5.5 x 1.25 depth
  4. Hello Ladies, I purchased these kraft boxes to use for my invitations and realized that they are too small not sure what I was thinking. Anyway, feel free to take them off my hands. There are 25 of them with a foam insert, makes a very pretty presentation, I will just have to get bigger boxes. Sigh...
  5. Hi there, There is a huge thread, "Beaches Turks & Caicos Roll Call" and people have posted tons of information in there. I do know that you are allowed to bring yur own iPod for music, you will just have to rent the speakers. As far as indoor locations, I honestly don't know. I am plannign to get married in the outdoor gazebo, not necessarily in the sand. Also, you can go to you tube and search the resort name, people have posted tons of pictures and videos of weddings and entertainment at the resort. Hope this helps a little. -Kisha
  6. I know that you can order fabric samples from Henkaa, that's what I did. The sample will give you the idea of the color. The great thing about the dresses are that you can order them longer and get them cut quite easily too. Good luck!
  7. I purchased 15 lights for paper lanterns that were going to be used for our engagement party. Unfortunately I forgot to bring them to my mom's for the party so they were never used. I am trying to organize and sell things that we will not be using for the wedding. You may purchase all 15 for $50 or individual ones for $4/each. I originally paid $6/each. Thanks for looking ladies.
  8. Soooo, ladies do we have anyone with a recent wedding or date coming up soon? This thread has been quiet, so I wanted to check in!
  9. I'm so excited and happy for you! Congratulations!!!!! Can't wait to see the rest of your photos and reading your reviews.
  10. Wonderful job! I especially like the biohazard bag idea. May I ask where you got the black zip cosmetic pouches and bio hazard bags? Cute ideas for sure! Also, I LOVE Rebecca, she made my passport save the dates and my logo!
  11. I'm pretty much done shopping for the OOT bags, still have 2 more bulk items I want to get. I'm estimating 85-100 people, we have 50 booked so far. I want to start making my inviting soon, I want them in the mail by the end of January with a March 1st RSVP deadline as well. I'm also brainstorming the centerpiece ideas, favors, and table linen. I know what I want so it's time to bargain hunt, I'm estimating the amount of tables, I know they seat 8 at the resort and I am goin with round tables. I will do the menus closer to the date when I have a better head count and make menu selections. I went dress shoppig back in June and ordered that, have my shoes already, have all of my gifts for the bridesmaids (3 to be exact), have everyone's hangers (me, BMs, flower girl, and both mothers). I also have the guest book and all of the groomsmen suits and gifts. I went on a shopping spree at the end of summer to catch the end of season sales! I'm also very OCD about things so I just made my lists and gottp checking things off. I bought a new printer last week so I could work on the invitations. Still feel like I have TONS to do.
  12. If the Cheesecake Factory delivered I would be broke and GINORMOUS! That is my own word that I just made up the spelling for! All I would order would be chocolate mousse cheesecake, bang bang chicken and shrimp or Jamaican black pepper shrimp, and firecracker rolls! My name is Kisha and I'm a food addict!
  13. The chocolate mousse cheesecake is one of may all time favorites!
  14. Hi there! I worked an odd shift today so I was back home from work by 8 AM and have been a couch potato all day! There are so many DIY projects to be done, exercise to conquer, and meals to be made, but this couch keeps winning the battle!
  15. It's on sale for $129 at Staples, it's regularly $199. I also had a staples rewards coupon so I paid $99 for the printer and then I bought some additional toner. In the end I paid about $140 after taxes but that was for the printer and a box of toner cartridges in all of the colors. Not too bad in my opinion. Since I haven't had a home printer for almost a year it was a justifiable purchase.
  16. Britney you have helped me to make a printer decision! I have been waivering for about 2 months now on what to get, I just pulled the plug and bought the Canon, thank goodness for a sale and a staples coupon! I also purchased extra toner because I know I'm gonna wear it out!
  17. Pokeyholly - Thanks so much for the suggestion. I will look at that, I was going with HP because of the name and the ability to get the toner on sale. Glad to hear someone else's experience! I am going to check out the Canon.
  18. I have been eyeballing the HP OfficejetPro 8600 for a while and it's on sale with Staples for like $139 so I need to go ahead and order it. I'm having buyer's remorse before I even purchase it. Oh brother, I've got issues!
  19. I totally understand, I am in the same boat. I have been looking into either a color laserjet printer or an office jet but I haven't decided. I want to get something that is an all in one so that I can really get my money's worth but I am so afraid! A really good printer is going to cost at least $300, I think. Will that be justifiable?
  20. It's a skin care oil, good for minimizing scars and moisturizing the skin. It's especially good after being in the sun all day.
  21. I was going to give the same advice because I am facing the same situation. I put the day pass fee on our website and stated that the people not staying at the resort would be responsible for paying for the day pass. I also stated that they HAVE to tell me in advance or else the resort will not have accommodations for them at the wedding and reception because we were not aware that they were coming. It's very stressful, I still get headaches about it but it's your money! They know there is still a cost associated with their attendance.
  22. Thanks for the tip! Send me a PM with your address and I will send them to you tomorrow. No need for money, I got them free and the only cost is a postage stamp!
