Ok, so here is my dilemma. MY FI and I live in separate states, but I am the one doing all of the wedding planning, of course. So for the return address info on the Save the Dates and Invitations, what address should I put? I will move to where he is evetually after we are officially married, our job won't allow me to move in advance. So I feel like for etiquette purposes, I need to put his address as the return, but in reality I will probably never receive the stuff from him because who knows what he will do with it. I wanted to order a custom stamp for the return address info, but it seems like a waste since I will be moving. What's a girl to do?

I am also doing the sand dollar theme, and it is so hard to find many things with these suckers! I have that same Martha Stewart craft punch and will be getting busy soon, I'm trying to get all of my "supplies" together before I start my Craftstravganza! Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but they will love it in the end.

Amber I'm glad I could help! For you ladies that have been there already I have another question. Are there wash cloths in the bathrooms? I know some resorts in some countries don't have them, so I want to know so I can plan for that as well. Thanks!

Amber - Don't worry about family, they are always the first ones to hurt our feelings yet be offended when we say something. Did you and/or your mom explain to the other cousins that if they stay at Beaches it would help you guys with the wedding package? I've had some folks directly ask me if it would help us to stay there and I said absolutely! They were more than willing to forgo their timeshares and stay at the resort in order to be a part of all of the festivities. I think this whole DW thing turns me into a part-time salesperson, but oh well. As long as the people you REALLY want to be there make the attempt and are there, forget about the negative ones. I'm sure it is a bit of jealousy, that happens because they didn't think of doing a DW, couldn't afford one, or it wasn't an option when they got married. You'll be fine!

Did you make the palm tree logo yourself? If so, what program did you use? I'm actually looking to create a cute sand dollar logo. I played around with some already, but I'm not totally sold yet. Decisions, decisions. I have publisher so I may play around in that, but I am not that savvy with it yet, so very different from Word and Power Point.

Thanks so much, I'm actually waiting on my copy of photoshop to arrive. Did you use elements, lightroom, or cs? Not sure if it makes a difference, but I would rather ask and be sure. I'm still playing around with photography so I don't mind purchasing the software.

Great job! Can I ask about your flags for the straws? What kind of template did you use? I've been playing around with the same thing, but I can't get it to come out lined up correctly. I have also thought long and hard about DIY cake topper, and I'm more inspired to do it! What material is your monogram? I know you mentioned removing the cake pick part, so I was wondering if it's metal or hard plastic. Sorry for all the questions!

LTLFAITHY - I made a flyer using MS Word and it actually came out pretty good,if I do say so myself! I can share my flyer with you if you would like. It is 2 pages but I figured it's an insert and will go with the save the dates anyway so who cares if it's 2 pages. I also will include the booking form for the TA just in case. The same info is posted on our website in case people lose the paper form.

So I just had my phone call to schedule my planning session with Roxy. I was very upfront about my hesitations on her responsiveness and customer service based on the information posted by past brides. The representative assured me that I can reach out to her directly if I did not have a satisfactory call with her, so wish me luck!

JustNoelle, I really like your designs, how did you make the swirls/flourishes? I've been trying to figure that out for a while. I'm on a mission to improve my monogram. I really like the one with the feather the best too!

mdcoug - thanks so much for the advice. I have had one TA bring up wedding insurance for us and travel insurance for the guests. She has been very nice thus far so I thinking about it seriously, I know my work schedule gets hectic so trying to worry about people's flight arrangements are the last thing I want to deal with. As for family drama regarding a destination wedding, oh please that's already started. I just ignore them now and say you either come or you don't. It's up to you if you want to come, but they make me feel guilty. Anyway, I'm excited for you!!!

Hello Ladies, So my FI and I have decided to change our DW from Nassau, Bahamas to Beaches Turks & Caicos. It's funny how things go because T&C was the first island I originally said when we discussed getting married. I ruled it out right away though because I said it would be too expensive for my family and friends so we chose Nassau. Long story short, there were sue very unfavorable reviews about the location we originally chose in Nassau and I took that as a sign. When we were originally working on details I had reservations about the property but I went along with it anyway because I wanted things to be affordable for the guests. Anyway, I went back to looking at T&C and my FI said let's do it! I will be working on the details tomorrow. Question for you all, did you use a TA or just work with Beaches directly? I called Beaches about a different location and received the specials and pricing info, and then I spoke to a TA who gave me the same pricing info and incentives that the resort offered directly. So I then asked the TA about flight info and was advised that they would provide my guests flight assistance as long as they booked their stay at Beaches through them. Is it really worth it? I mean at that point, my guests would most likely start looking at expedia and travelocity and the like and find their flights, so what's the advantage with the TA? I'm very confused. Thanks ladies, I'm super excited now!

Well we have cancelled our wedding at this location. At this time, we are looking for a new resort and location. After doing some additional research and reading some very unfavorable reviews about the property, we decided to cancel. I am hoping to book another location and get my same date soon. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I have also reached out to a travel agent, so maybe this time things will be better. This sucks

Well ladies, I have gone back and forth with my color scheme with the FI and we are definitely going with the navy and fuchsia color scheme. I was leaning towards the turquoise (since that's the color closest to my birthstone) but he wasn't having it. It didn't really dawn on me until this crazy hour of the morning that I had purchased some great stuff from Coconoir in the wrong color! Now, I just purchased these items from her and I will sell them to you at the same price. I totally goofed with this one.
