Does any one have any suggestions on flying from DR (our wedding site) to somwhere like Turks and Casios or Jamicia for our honeymoon the day after our guest leave? i was looking online and couldnt find any flights flying direct from an international location to another international with out a long layover back in the states. Also any good recomendations for a honeymoon if we do stay in DR i want to stay in a different resort the second week

this is by far the hardest descision i have to make for the wedding- im perfectly fine with getting married at our local courthouse a few days before we leave and then doing a symbolic ceremoney in DR but im catching alot of slack from my future inlaws- there religous and my family is not, i just want to avoid all the paper work hassle and i really wanted to get Pastor Rick york he does such a great job as the other option is a (broken english 5 min Traditional ceremony) should i be more considerate? nope dont think so lol

Go to the hard rock punta Cana!-good price if you are dealing with a good travel agent -tons of restaurants like 10 and 16 or so bars 3 swim up bars and 1500 in resort credits per room for spa excursions golf ect so your guest don't have to bring much extra money. And all of there wedding packages are for 30 people not 8 or 10 like other resorts. Pm me and I'll send you the info I have on there wedding packages. We're flying from canada and its quite expensive but for the resort aspect were getting an amazing price plus if you get 12 rooms for a week you get free unlimited private parties for the week 7 comp room nights and a voucher for your 1 yr anniversary

Hey! We have our wedding booked for 40 guest and counting so far, and yes they are extending the resort credits my TA called the wholesaler and they said "not officially yet" but it is in our contract and that's good enough for me we are going April 20-27 and our wedding will be on the 24th. So exciting!! I'm also super pumped about having our 75 room nights in as a group so YEAH for free unlimited private paties food and drinks included our comp 7 night stay and our free room upgrade! We are going to have our welcome dinner @ the Eden pool our ceremony on the isla beach and reception most likely in the ballroom. I freakin love this place! All my research and planning is starting to come together. <3

Talked to my TA this morning and got a great rate for the Hard Rock in April 2013 for 40 guests, Yeah so excited! I have spent hours finding, researching, debating and I'm happy we (I) have made a decision we are also in the middle of booking with pastor Rick York and our wedding decorator, have alreaddy put the deposit on "the" wedding dress, and I'm looking into a welcome dinner or day after wedding brunch on that yaght bacaraz (don't think I spelt that correctly). Yeah its all coming together
