  1. I'm getting married there in April and our ceremony is @ 1 pm with Rick york for 30 mins and then we are hosting a cocktail party for 2 hours then our wedding boat is coming to et us at 4 pm . I think people are pretty relaxed while on vacation and won't be so uptight about timelines for the day and most might appreciate having the down time between ceremony and reception perhaps offer apps and cockles for people who choose to hang around and you will be ettng free private parties with the amount of guests you have coming

  3. I'm getting married in April 2013 @ the hrh as well! I was totally over whelmed in the beginning too. This website saved my life and sanity! The first thing I did was pick a resort- which you alreaddy did so kudos cause that was a huge time cnsumming job that I totally stressed out over lol but we both chose wisely I have 52 guest coming so we needed a large resort and family friendly since I have a 3 year old son. Then I contacted my travel adjent and set up a meeting with her and got some prices in writing. Then I went online (zazzle.com) and got my save the dates done we choose two starfish holding hands lol I like re idea of the boarding passes but didn't have time or money to get them made. I sent them out with my wedding website on them and had ppl RSVP online. All of e deposits for the trip have been put down and then it was time to start planning. I loved the idea of leaving the resort for the reception. I liked the jellyfish restaurant but I loved e la bacaraz boat better so we went with that. We are getting to e resort on Monday and doing a welcome dinner that night and then the wedding on the thurs and then a farewell brunch on the Sunday. Once you contact a travel adjent and start booking rooms you will be contacted by the Miami office and discuss a few things but all of the planning with them is not done until a few months before the wedding.   5. Hard rock casino and spa, punta Cana. April 25, 2013. We have rented la bacaraza for our reception
  6. Date We are having our AHR on June 29th Location my fiances family's owns property it's a beautiful plot of land My FI own a tent company so obviously that's the route were going. A huge tent, dance floor, 2 long tables that will accomadate our 200 guests all with my orange and fushia theme Decor everthing orange and fushia! paper lanterns, twinkly lights on the trees. Centerpieces are tall glass vases with sand and tall white hurricane candles Food & drink We are having a full open bar with my signature drink of vodka peach snappes orange juice and grenadine, we are having "flare" bartenders coming for our cocktail hour. They are pretty sweet flip bottles and set shots on fire lol. Our food is getting down by a local caterer it's going to be pulled pork chicken and lots of BBQ type sides. We are also doing a s'mores bar and ice cream sandwich station. Music. We are hiring a cool tropical vibe tin drum band to play when our guests are arriving and thru our cocktail hour. Then our dj will start for dinner and hour and continued thru the night I am wearing my dress again and wedding party will wear there outfits again as well. No cake or speeches! I'm trying to keep it fun and casual with a romantic beachy vibe We are thinking of hiring a valet service to park the cars side it's just a road and not a traditional parking lot. More to come..... Lol

  8. So how do you attach them to the tulle? And then it's one long piece of tulle you roll back up and bring it with you to the resort? I haven't heard of this before! Another DIY I love it

  10. Lol those are cute I have also seen on here somewhere one bride printed business cards with a cute poem running around the edges and slipped in into a clear luggage tag that can be used for room keys. boo I can't remember the saying tho
  11. I just bought the last 52 coffee mugs from my local dollar tree. They are the same size as the clear tumblers but have a lid that can open and close and a rubber grip they come in like 5 different colors. Pretty cute for 1 dollar. I'm planning on printing my monogram on clear sticky labels and attaching them on. Hopefully it works lol.
