  1. I like the chapstick - I checked my local walmart, and they don't have them! Such a great price!
  2. Those are beautiful!! I love the saying on yours! Etsy dealer - never thought of that! My WONDERFUL fiance came up with a solution for our tumblers today! He went into a sign company today and we're having them put the labels on the cups for us...and it will probably cost us about the same amount as the stickers off Etsy. Will post a pic when we get them back!
  3. Wh When do you fly? We leave April 9th. And return 23rd...I will let you know how we make out! PM me later on so I remember lol!
  4. Another Canadian snag...although the price is great, for 15 the cost is $14.85, and shipping is $14.95....so they would actually cost me $2 each. BOO! lol No aloe for my guests!
  5. Hello Ladies, So to save some money, my FI and I are planning on labelling our own tumblers.... here is what we came up with (with ideas of course borrowed from another bride).... We went to staples and asked for a waterproof label....the guy gave us one that is partially clear...brought it home, printed them all out....then my beautiful dog drooled on it...guess what! It's not so waterproof!!! Thankfully they aren't on the tumblers yet. We're looking for other options to personalize them, anyone got any ideas?? Anyone done these before? Thanks for your help!
  6. I'm planning on making one to include in my OOT bag. I loved the idea, but don't want to spend any more money. I think I'll just google the drinks, (maybe use a picture)...and type it up!
  7. Hi Ladies Just wanted to give you some feedback to think about when ordering. My FI's suit was pretty much perfect for him! I did the measurements myself. I added some here and there - just use your common sense when ordering. The best mans suit is apparently big on him (I think its fine...the waist might be a little too big). Groomsman # 1 - had big issues with the pants - they literally looked like balloon pants from way back when....nothing that our family friend/seamstress can't fix, but its a hassle for him. ** He got his measurements done at a suit store...go figure they would mess up the measurements. LOL Vest is a little snug, but our seamstress is just going to shuffle the buttons around a little. Groomsman # 2 - lives out of province and won't be home until 4 days before we leave...Fingers crossed his suit fits him!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Although, I did his measurements so I'm sure they are fine lol We ordered my FI's suit and groomsmens months apart and the fabric matches great! No problems there. Overall, FI and I are super happy with the suits (although the boys are giving us grief because they need to be hemmed...GEEZ). Definitely recommend ordering through them - can't beat the price! Good luck!
  8. We ordered our suits from studiosuits and our linen shirts from islandimporter - GREAT quality shirt from them. I've heard studio suits linen shirts are really thin and see-through. Good luck!
  9. Sooo...since believing we were doing 'coral'...we've realized the BM's dresses are more pink than coral. So, travelling with the tiny swatch which was all I had to go on, we ended up finding a tux store in a mall that sold clip on ties - and we found something that had a gradient to it that matches pretty well. We ordered and have since received our tropical beige suits. Overall pretty happy with them!
  10. That's what we're doing! Groom is in full suit - vest and jacket, groomsmen are in vests and ties - also coral! Although we aren't grey, we're tropical beige!
  11. Our airline upgraded us to Elite seats on the plane, which gives us an extra 20 lbs each...so we're just going to hope to hell it all fits in under the weight requirement. LOL I would imagine shipping all of that weight down there would be astronomical! My FI is very worried that its going to WAY OVER. We're going to go buy a Heys scale soon and test it. If we need more, we'll be using up the extra space in my 8 year old neice's luggage....or just giving more stuff to other people (our best man and maid of honour are only coming for 4 days, so they won't have as much to bring down).
  12. Oh, that's too bad! Its very common in my area - I would say almost expected. Unless you have a very low key wedding, you are sure to have a buck and doe / jack and jill in amongst all the wedding celebrations! I've heard some of these can make a lot of money too if you have the right people and lots of people come - one bride and groom made $10,000!!! I'll still stick with my amount - its going to help pay for the photographer and wedding package!
  13. Thanks - I'm going to have to think about the aloe and propel. We have a target in town that will be opening in a week - I could always check there once its open....but walmart doesn't seem to have the small bottles of aloe...neither does the dollar stores....I guess I'll have to look around.
  14. Great job!! I love this idea! If I could order one more thing for my bags...it'd be the watches. Unfortunately, we have no time left and no money....LOL! Nice tags too! 15. Hehe. I'm so glad this is a Canadian tradition!! Its a big 'fundraiser' where all of your family and friends get together for a party and play games and drink and win prizes...all profits go towards your wedding! We had our three weeks ago and made a cool $3,000 (about average for our area). Every little bit helps!
