Yeah...I would have said HECK NO...but he really wanted it, because he's always gotten something engraved...but honestly, thats all he EVER got...and we've already paid for the bridal party's sandals, and we've bought the girls their jewelry...I've had so many complaints about cost of things...I don't even want to give them a bloody gift engraved. LOL FI has a brighter outlook on it I guess....I'm getting tired of the complaints...almost to the point where I'm gonna say, if you don't want to pay for it, then you won't be wearing it, and you won't be standing up for us...that's generally the idea when you say yes to being in a wedding party. OY! That's all for my rant...LOL Go with a cheaper alternative. People probably won't appreciate the engraving all that much anyways. lol

It was $170 to personalize 10 mugs. Ugh! FI is so worried about money but didn't have a problem with that cost! Geeesh!!

So, I ended up splitting up my things - each OOT bag will have 3-4 bags inside it. Everyone gets their own snack pack, then the survival kit....then a toiletry bag. In the survival kit, I did a neat little 'folder' type things for the immodium-type meds...I ended up scanning in the box itself because the meds don't have directions or even a name on them. I just printed them on cardstock and folded them in hald. ...then I did another folder for the gastrolyte - which is essentially electrolytes for dehyrdration. On that, i included hangover remedies!

We just got our bubba's engraved tonight. Let me tell you...engraving is STUPID expensive. But, my FI was set on getting them engraved because all of the weddings he's been in he's received an item engraved. We just did "Best Man's", etc. so at least its still wedding related. I wanted to do our date and their name but good grief it was already expensive. Also, we got ours at Canadian Tire and we just did the purple for the girls and black for the guys. I'm not worried about the colour - I don't care they aren't bright or our wedding colours, because they are still amazingly cool! I think our bridal party will still use them regardless of the colour! We went with the bigger ones with the handle. I think they will be best for down at the resort - they have a plastic inside rather than steel - which is a lot lighter for traveling too (something to think about).

My wedding colours are ivory, coral and beige (linen)....I had originally wanted the canvas bags but couldn't find them ANYWHERE that could ship to Canada that was reasonable. BOoooooo! I ended up getting these small totes from Dollar Tree - and then I went to work on all of the labels and such, and then decided to do a completely different theme to the OOT bags....after all, they aren't really wedding at all...they are more travel oriented. I chose bright green and bright blue. I liked using those colours too, gave me some variety while planning!

Hi All! Just thought I would share some of my finds as well! I found these sets of body cream and body wash - 6 in a box, on clearance at Walmart for like $2.00!! We ended up scratching off the names and the little kisses and putting our label on top of them - they turned out really nice! I found these at The Shoe Company of all places!! They were on sale from the $15.99 - and when we bought the groomsmens sandals, we got bonus bucks that we could use on these. I think we ended up paying $4.99 for them - not bad for a pack of 7 - we ended up getting two packs of all different colours for all of the ladies. I then found nail polish remover WIPES (individually wrapepd) at walmart in a box! Each lady will also get one wipe. I found this at a local store that sells gifty things - it was a tumbler that had a decal on the inside of the cup. Unfortunately, our budget is limited - the cup was $15.99! It was just too cute NOT to share! This blistex at dollarama has an SPF! Not all stores in my area have them, so you really have to look at all of the Dollarama's around you. Dollarama - canvas colour - kind of looks like a cake, if anyone is interested? Walmart - these are smaller, like a travelling toiletry bag, but totally cute if you want to go that way with your OOT bags. Avon - this was in the catalogue - might be cute? These are the original totes we went with - found at Dollar Tree. It was literally the ONLY bag we could find. I was okay with them but didn't love the colours. We got a mixture of green blue, purple, pink and orange. I decided I wanted to try to exchange all of the different colours for just blue and green because of the designs I decided to go with for our OOT bag items....they were green and blue. AND THEN.... We walked into a Dollar Tree and saw an Easter display with the same bags in easter colours....so I've since exchanged them all for these two colours which match PERFECTLY to my design and ribbon This was our key holder design - we were having such a hard time finding lanyards - I ordered some from eBay and they got lost in the mail. So we tried searching and couldn't find anything. LUCKILY...my brilliant FI decided to ask his work if they had anything...it would have been printed with the company logo, but they ordered USBs which came with these straps...and they were just cutting them off!!!! What a waste! So, he brought them home, took the lanyards off and PRESTO! Free lanyards! WOOOO HOO! That's all for now...good luck!
