Hi everyone! Any suggestions for a banging make up artist in the La Romana area or in the DR in general? Anyone used the artists at Dreams La Romana...thoughts? I was going to fly my glam team down, but am rethinking it. what do you guys think?

LADIES!!!!! mini freak out moment!!! we're all under 2 months left! I totally can't breathe right now! so behind on everything! originally when we set the date for the wedding, we planned it to be at a slower period during work, after all my shows are over. of course they changed the date of one of the shows, and now the wedding is smack-dab in the middle. ok freak out over. time to tackle this list!

your set up is going to be so beautiful! love it! we've decided to do the beach gazebo for the ceremony, pier for the cocktail hour, and seaside grill for the reception. ended up not having that many guests book...which I'm kind of ok about! hehe i am so behind though. i haven't decided on anything as far as decor, ceremony, flowers etc. Work has been killing me! but gotta get on it, since it's 7 weeks away (I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT!) trying to maintain my sanity in the midst of 2 huge shows that i'm working on....and the wedding falls right between them. BIG SIGH!!! pray for me! what are you doing for hair/make up? originally i was going to fly both my hair and make up team down, but I've been rethinking it. still need to make a decision asap.

yup! invites out. and i absolutely LOVE them. we did the boardng pass invites and received so many compliments. My cousin actually made them for me, and she is amazing! Better than I expected. Bought our flight tickets to the DR (finally) a couple of days ago...only $298. I couldn't believe I found them so low. I've never paid that little to go to the DR. what else. waiting on folks to finish booking, as they only have 1 week before final payments are due for the hotel. AND I almost forgot...got a call today that my dress has arrived at the store! time for a fitting!!

hi wedding date twin! i can't believe it's getting sooo close!! have you had any luck in getting decor (flowers/linen etc) options from yanna or jenny? or did you just send over pics of what you wanted and they told you what they cost? I'm trying to figure out what they can actually do, but yanna just keeps telling me, what do i want. i have no idea! lol

i've been on the phone with them for 2 days. if I place an order now, they'll be on back order and supposedly won't come until january. I'm guessing they haven't updated their website yet. actually just must have...cause I just searched for fans and nothng came up. thanks missbubbles205!!!! going to check them out now!

so had a debacle from Oriental Trading...they no longer have a manufacturer that supplies the raffia fans. of course this happens after mine get lost in the mail. frustrated beyone measure right now. if anyone has any suggestions on where to get them, i'd so appreciate it!

that's so frustrating! its like make up your mind already!!!! We're faced with folks NOT booking, but still saying they're coming. I can't officially get a count until these folks book their travel. and who knows when they'll do it!

FI is wearing a grey michael kors or jones new york suit from men's wearhouse. we got them both when they were having their big 2-for 1 sale. (a steal!!) now we just gotta decide which one! hehe love them both. groomsmen are wearing charcoal slacks from JC penney and simple button down white shirts.

TIME IS DEFINITELY FLYING! it's like hitting me everyday! invites are almost done. LOVE them! just ordered my fans from Oriental Trading, which were out of stock for so long!!! so happy about that. slowling getting things done. too bad about the AC....just like us! i'm out of town for work, and I get a call from my FI saying that the lady above us left her water running all day, which burst a pipe and overflowed into our bedroom and bath. not the greatest feeling. but not letting anything stress me out! have positive thoughts about my shower that my mom and sis are throwing me in mia. I am so excited about that!!!!
