Does anyone have the email address to Anel at Adventure photos? For all the past brides, did you have to get in contact with her directly to reserve her for your big day or did your coordinator do that for you? Same with the DJ? -

I havent heard from anyone in weeks!! I am so thankful for my travel agent that has very good relationships with everyone at the hotel, so she is taking care of most everything for me!

That is so helpful! What time did you have your ceremony start? Im trying to figure out when the best time would be so that by the time our reception starts it isn't dark out already! Also, did you have a cocktail hour?

Im in the same boat! The only thing I am worried about is that I think that besides Evangelina who oversees everything, I think Lorena is the only wedding coordinator at the moment so she must be so super busy!!! We are staying 10 nights, and I also wish I could leave right now!! I still have to wait 7 months!

We made our deposit about 2 months ago and our wedding is in January. You pretty much just tell her along the way all the things that you want, and then from what I know, once you get down there, you go over everything and you dont pay for any of the wedding stuff until you are down there and have everything written out a few days before the wedding.

oh good to hear!! Did you have to schedule the "meet and greet in the bar" with the wedding coordinator at all? Or did you just tell everyone ahead of time to meet there? Im just a little nervous not to do a practice run through of the ceremony!

Katie, Im so glad everything went so wonderful for you!!! Did you notice that it rained everyday? I feel like im hearing that a lot lately! One question for you, did you do any kind of rehearsal dinner, or rehearsal ceremony? How did all that work?

I just wanted to let you know, that when I was in Playa del Carmen this last September, we went to Xcaret, and it was amazing!! We swam with the dolphins there, you can snorkel, they have a natural lazy river that you float down on inner tubes and they stop at zip lines, places to cliff jump, etc. They also have iguanas everywhere and it was just an awesome experience!

Lindsey, Im so excited for you! I wish mine was sooner! I have a couple questions for you. How much did you spend on your OOT bags and where did you get everything from? Im trying to decide whether or not im going to do them or not since everything is seeming to be much more expensive then I thought! Also, would you mind sending me any copies of your welcome letter, itinerary, etc? That would be so helpful just to get ideas! My email is [email protected]. Thank you!
