OK Ladies I need some help - I think I have finally decided on a dress.... without trying it on of course - But, have fallen in love with it!! I have just contacted Jasmine's and they are going to get started... They are asking if I want any alterations done on the dress?? I think I don't want it SOO white, I asked about changing the lace to something not so Harsh - but they kind of steered me away from that... Anything else I should mention? @SusanMike2013 - IT'S ALL GOING TO BE OKAY!!! Don't let this keep you awake at night!! Your wedding is going to be brilliant!! I will send you my spreadsheet... It is made up already using the Divine package, so it will be different - depending on which package you choose... It says that Outside vendors cost $150 - Ridiculous, but true - So, on top of your price for the photographer - you will have to add the $150. Its on the spreadsheet. Send me your email and I will mail it for you - it helps A LOT! Surprised they haven't sent you one - they sent it to me when I first paid the down payment. I have noticed though, the prices I have on my spreadsheet are different from those on the website now... for things like dinner... I've emailed the WC to see what exactly that means!

@ Chrisdeluca - I just checked and the Platinum dinner comes with the Divine Package, and international bar service for 3 hours.

The WC sends a spreadsheet for you to fill out - with all your options and the prices of them ... I can email it to you if you want - I have the one for the Divine package... Mine's in a bit of a shambles at the moment...

I know EXACTLY what you mean about waiting for the deadline... Its like finding out how many people really love you!! haha Just kidding... Kind of! I know my Christmas card list just got a bit shorter anyways!! haha I'm in Korea at the moment, and there are dress shops... But they do it a bit differently - Like renting dresses is the most common... and in order to try these on you must sign a contract with a lot of places - which means you are with them for EVERYTHING - photos, venue, hair, flowers... Or there are some high scale dress shops - but you have to pay to try each individual dress on - Like $20 each... And they aren't at all like the styles I would be considering anyways... So, the only other option is to have a dress made here... Hence the draping of the fabric - But, just looking at it - looked cheap.... Options are a bit limited at the moment... But, I figure if I get something off the internet and then take it to a dress maker to have it altered... I dunno - But, I need to decide soon - 6 Months to go! Congrats on finding your dress!! You should post a pic!! And the deadline will come soon enough - so save your pennies for the SHOPPING!!

I have the the spreadsheet - Thanks Skygirl... I went over it again last night... I think I will use their bouquet and take the room upgrade (upon availability - of course!) ... And I guess get the hair... I'm thinking now that for me - it may be worth it to take the package... I read the same thing about the cake - so no upgrade there... But, will have to pay for the extra champagne, chairs, meals - The ammature video is kind of a bonus for us, as my FI mother is not going to be able to make it... So - Paying extra for that alone kind of makes up for it! So - I will take my free massage and dinner on the beach and make the best of it!! Where are you having you reception Skygirl? I'm bringing paper lanterns as well - but, we are having a poolside reception(wanted Castaways - not paying $5000) ... So, I'm not going to need quite as many as I had thought - only for the lattice covers... Haven't heard from Silvia in a few weeks - but, any time I get some info - I will pass it along!

I'm doing the symbolic too - and also don't want anyone to know - The WC told me they will have papers there and everything to sign and that they get this a lot and no one will know its not for "real" - We are using a friend to do the ceremony! Kind of perfect for us... I love lime green!! So beautiful!! Can't wait to see some pics! I would be interested in the florist number - What kind of prices are you paying? Must be cheaper then the resort! Update - Tried on some more "dresses" - by that I mean, a prom dress and some pieces of material wrapped around me... I think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and order online... And hope for the best... Just gonna hope the dress I think is the most beautiful on a model is also the most beautiful on me!! haha Oh, and my deadline just passed for guests - Which was AWESOME - been waiting on that forever so that I can start the SHOPPING!! I'm not even that tall(at home) - I'm 5"9 - About a size 10 ... Just big enough not to fit into shoes, pants or wedding dresses! haha Gonna get something made online - But, would be nice to try some on to make sure I find my style... All the dresses on the models looks GORGEOUS!! haha I've gone with the Divine Package ... Planning has been going well - slow, but good... Again - makes things extra tough planning from here! Lots of internet shopping! We have just over 40 confirmed guests now and 6 months to go!! SOOO excited!! I had to look up guava to see what colour it is - Its LOVELY! Those natural colours seem to be all the rage right now! Very popular on Pinterest! Good luck!!

I'm also doing the symbolic ceremony... mostly for convenience, I'm Canadian - marrying a Kiwi and we live in Korea... So - translations and such into Spanish would have just been more tricky... So we actually did the paper work a few months ago - But, neither of us consider ourselves married yet and we are going to do the same thing and let on like ceremony is the real deal... My colours are black, white (damask) and Fuchsia ... Planning is going well - Just need to find myself a DRESS - A job - not so simple in the land of the tiny!! hehe
