We TOTALLY want to see the new pics!! Please post!

I'm gonna be honest here - I have worked my butt off to get looking the best I ever have - and probably will, spent a LOT of time and money to look absolutely beautiful... and have dreamed of this moment - MY ENTIRE LIFE... I want EVERY second of my day to be photographed by a professional!! haha On a more personal note, I live abroad and rarely see my friends and family - These photos will be something I will always be able to look back on and remember that moment in time when we were all together - happy.

Hi Mandie... I'm not going to bother with menu's... I probably won't decide until the last minute what we are having... I'm also bringing small welcome bags, and the wedding party gifts... along with gifts for my parents and favours - hoping I can have them shipped straight to the resort though... I'm not sure about the make up yet... I have a couple friends coming who are really good with that.. may just have them do it - then they can do a practice round before hand... but getting my hair done there... You FREAKED me out a bit by saying sooooooo soon!! hahaha... I guess it is - I think I just keep saying to myself that it is still so far away - I don't feel organized!! Time really goes quickly though!! My year engagement just passed... I ended up picking something online... EEK! I tried LOTS of places here - but just no luck... So, that part is a bit scary too - ordered a dress without even trying it on!! I will keep you updated though - I should have it in a couple months!

That's a great question!! They are waiting on my veil order as well - but I have NOOO idea about such things....

From what I've gathered on here and heard from the wc - it seems like the actual table set up will be best left until you get there... I'm not paying for extra decorations(sooo pricey!)... But, I am bringing some things along with me - just to add to the tables... and maybe the backdrop with some paper lanterns and pomanders... I'm scared I won't fit everything into the suitcase!!

I did just the standard for everything and it came out to just under $600 - including the belt.... I'll let you know about the quality when I get it!

Ok Ladies - I have ordered my dress!!! From Jasmine's of course.... Haven't tried it on - But, I saw it and fell in love with it and now I am just hoping for the best!! I've ordered it in off white.... Eek - Really nervous - BUT SOOOO EXCITED!!!! I will keep you posted!

I've spoken to the resort about sparklers - they said they are fine and that they would get them and give you a quote... Haven't heard how much yet though! I also asked about the tables and you can have your choice of round or rectangle - I think they have a lot of set up options that you figure out once you are there. My MOH is handling the centre pieces - think they are going to be some sort of vase with water candles and lights...

They've told me the same about the reception - Its listed as costing $400 separate for the reception... There are a lot of angles!

I went with lanyards in multi colours and ziploc tags with cards inside with a cute message...

I'd say Dominican or Cuba... But, its gonna be tough - I'd get a few travel agents working on it and see what they can find! We wanted to go cheaply, and we are going to Dominican for $1400. Good luck!

Wow - you were SOOOO right to go with the extra ruffles - They totally make it!!! I am going to post my half made dress pics to get your opinion when they come in!! Congrats on a Beautiful dress!!

@ Skygirl I was initially thinking about extending the hours, because in 3 hours you have to squeeze dinner, speeches and dances... Its not much time - and in my case its from 7-10, so its seems strange to have your reception to end so early... But, at the price - I thought about it, and just thought - We are staying at an ALL-INCLUSIVE resort... We can go anywhere and drink our faces off and its already paid for... So, for us - 3 hours will be plenty of time! haha

@2012Mrstobe - Just a suggestion, if you need to call them - Download Skype - its Super cheap and easy! I use it to call everywhere and I live in Korea. Good luck! Sounds like amazing customer service - So happy I've decided to go with them!! Make sure you put up a pic of the final product!

I like the ruffles idea... I see what you are saying, it looks like something is just missing between the 2 areas... You are right, it will stand up more when the underlay (thingy) is there... I say give a bit of ruffle a try!

We aren't going to hire the DJ either, just asking a friend to organize the music for us... Saves a few hundred dollars!
