Sandos Caracol Eco resort and Spa February 26, 2013. It feels like an eternity away

I work in Lansing, What store went out of business? Just curious as I'm shopping for my dress and am planning on going to The wedding Bell, Fantastic finds and Lett's.

HI! I'm planning a little gathering for the women in my wedding the day of hte ceremony. I am planning on taking them to 5th Ave to get our hair done and to pick out/up flowers for my BM's bouquets and boutineers (sp). Does anyone have a recommendation on a salon or florist on 5th Ave in Playa del carmen? Thanks!

Wow great job, I couldn't figure it out for hte life of me! Being made in hong kong makes since, the store was called "oriental massage" which i googled and definitely found everything expect what I wanted to see. lol. Anyways knowing the brand gives me some hope!

I'm curious too about decorating the disco and dinner area. I can't imagine shipping everything down, and I'm not crazy about traveling with decor. I must admit I am having a hard time dealing with not knowing what the resort looks like specifically the restaurant and disco.

omg, these flowers are all so beautiful! I LOVE orchids with some simple greenery. I'm in the beginning stages of planning and am not sure what my resort offers for flowers. Has anyone bought flowers without notice to a florist the day of there wedding? My thoughts were to take my BM's and mothers into playa (since my ceremony is not until 4pm) the day of and find a florist to make us bouquets/ boutonnieres. Not sure if all florists need notice...

OK ladies.... Over the weekend I went out of town for a wine weekend trip and we were strolling down a downtown street and I was stopped by these shoes. Several issues: The store was closed, the stores name is Oriental massage (do not google that haha) and I can't read the brand. I MUST HAVE THESE SHOES for my wedding! I don't know if maybe anyone has any ideas on how I can locate these shoes or maybe recognizes the brand? btw the store was in St. Joesph, MI

I'm marrying 2/26/13 and am sending out STD's in May and I've been debating on sending a very simple RSVP with them to just get a very basic headcount, even if someone says "maybe" i would be more happy than no response at all. So as of today I am sending my STD's with rsvp's.

You did a great job, Should I be concerned that my wedding is 2/26/13 and I haven't even remotely started my STD's?

So I'm having a bit of a panic attack, my issue(ha, one of many): I want/need to send save the dates BUT I also need to send some sort of letter with all the information regarding dates, travel company, resort, prices. Do i send simple STD's and then when the wedding is closer send out full on invites? Seems like I would need to send out more info with the STD's since this involves extra planning on my guests part. But if I send full on invites will the guests loose them? Am I over thinking this? aghghghghgh Dear god someone help me clear up my confusion.

OMG, I am having my wedding at Sandos Caracol and I have been debating on the gazebo vs. the beach as I am concerned about the other resort guests imposing on my time. Overall what did you think of Caracol? i will not be doing a site visit, just hoping to H*ll it all works out

I look forward to hearing about your big day and maybe see soem pics My budget is a huge factor in my planning, we are on a tight tight tight budget. So with that said I am curious to know what ppl are paying a night per couple for there room? My wedding is not till 2/2013 so the resorts don't have those prices out yet. I have decided against a private dance as it will probably be more fun to party with the other resort guests! Ali- Congrats and again look forward to hearing how your trip and big day went

Hi Ladies! I'm not quite yet a Playacar bride as I'm still debating between Playacar and the caracol eco resort. I have yet to see any wedding pics for the Caracol resort which freaks me out, I need reassurance that things will go my way, lol. BTW the pics I've seen on here for Playacar are beautiful! So how did you all decide on a resort? What set Playacar above the rest? A little about our family: We like to party, not obnoxiously, but we are all in our 20's - 30's that will be coming down and we like to have a good time! We will be arriving 2/23/13 with a ceremony date 2-3 days later. One concern is dancing, we all love to get down, lol can i have a private "reception"? I would app recite any advice regarding the Sandos properties and if anyone has an opinion on rowdiness or the lack of, I want to hear all your thoughts! I must make my decision very soon!

Hello Ladies! I'm 99% sure Sandos is my resort, for some reason I have a small hesitation as I have not seen any wedding pics. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see some pics of a wedding there. - Dancing, I have a larger group coming down 30-50 and we like to party! Is there a place to do this that is semi private? - Dinner- Does anyone know if its possible to have dinner on the beach or outside of the restaurants? - Since we like to have a good time and get our drink on, does anyone think the amount of kids there became an issue or annoyence? -Hair- did anyone have there hair done at the salon? I would love all feedback! Oh and I'm looking at 2/23/13 - 3/1/13
