Thank you SO much! I can't take credit for them though. I bought the template from a bride off Weddingbee and then had my graphic design person customize it for us with the excursion info and RSVP details. I think people will be excited to get them but most of my folks booked their rooms back in May. We have 60 ppl booked so far I'm thinking maybe these invitations might push another 10 or so over the edge LOL Just glad to have them done! Now she and I can get started on door hangers, favor tags, custom menus, itineraries, check-in cards, welcome letter, and programs. LOL so much done but still so much left to do! :-)

Thank you! I'm not sure if she's up here as I met her on Weddingbee but YES I purchased a template from Vanessa and David. We're you thinking of Steph? I've seen her passports up here but haven't seen Vanessa's. I think Vanessa & David's have more pages if I'm not mistaken but they're all fabulous to me. I'm not a DIYer or creative that way so it's worth it to me to pay someone to do it rather than spend weeks on it myself and screw it up! Lol I purchased the template from them for just $15 and then had someone customize it for me. Well worth the time it saved me!

Thank you! It took me a while to get them customized as I don't know Adobe Illustrator and had to have someone do them for me but I'm glad this project is finished.

Thanks Tova! I should have the rest of them back from the printer between Friday and Monday...which gives me time to get the labels done...I guess I should have been doing that all this time! LOL

Sorry I realized I did it wrong the 1st time! Anyway, here is the invitation...it's dark in my room...I should have taken the pics in a brighter setting!

I got a mock up of my invitation from the printer today! I'm so excited...I really like them. Sorry the pictures look so grainy...I guess it's my iphone...they don't look that way in person

Hey Tova, once I get them back from the printer I definitely will post pics (I'm hoping Friday)! The paper I chose for the cover was too textured for my printer at home so I sent the whole job to the printer. Plus I really didn't feel like being bothered with cutting, rounding corners, drilling holes, etc. I have so much respect and admiration for you DIY ladies, I'm just useless when it comes to that stuff!

Thanks Tova! It is such a huge thing to have checked off...so glad I can now focus on other things! I have had some of the same issues with losing relationships throughout this process. A friend of mine that was a bridesmaid in my wedding and doing all the graphic design pieces for me (paid, not free) just suddenly dropped off the map. Wouldn't return any phone calls, text messages, emails. It was crazy...my plan was to get my invitations out by the end of August but she disappeared on me so I had to find someone new and start the process all over. Fortunately, another gal I've worked with in the past was available to work with me and got it done really quickly. I'm just happy to have gotten the project completed; but disappointed that I lost a friend in the process.

Thanks Dazey! It is exciting! Yes, we did passport invites with boarding pass RSVP cards...I'll post pics as soon as I get them back from the printer...hopefully by the end of the week.

We're in the same boat. I had a couple of my aunts tell me they were bringing their girlfriends (because they thought it would be fun to hang out with them in Mexico). And a couple of my friends who aren't dating anyone seriously are planning to bring someone to room with them. I didn't exactly like the idea of having to pay for random people; but at the same time didn't think it was fair to tell some people they could bring a guest and tell others they couldn't. So we just decided to bite the bullet on that one. We're staying at an AI resort and having to pay per person for the meal. We're also taking all of our guests on a catamaran excursion for the day and that cost is per person as well so it will definitely add up. Oh well, just add it to the other gazillion trillion dollars we're already spending on this wedding. LOL
