For past brides, did they have a suite available for the Groom for the night before your wedding? I know the package says based upon availability, I'm just wondering if it typically has been available?

Sorry Ladies, I knew I had one more question! In the pricing information that I did get from Nayeli there's a $400 fee for the Minister Service and a $500 fee for the Judge Service. Are these fees included with the Gold Package?

Current and former brides-who is staying at EPM for their honeymoon? We're arriving on March 20 with our guests arriving on March 21, getting married on March 23 and our guests are leaving on March 25. We were considering leaving on that day as well and going to El Dorado Maroma for another 4 or 5 nights...just thinking that it might seem like another vacation being at a different resort. However, now I'm thinking we might just stay at EPM since everyone keeps talking about how beautiful it is. Not to mention, by then everyone will know us! On another note, for the past brides that stayed at EPM for their honeymoon, what room type did you select and if you had it to do over would you select the same or different? Oh ok...We're in the 4pm slot on the 23rd. I wanted the 16th at 4pm initially but it was already taken. Then when I checked there was only one date in April and one date in May that had the late slot available. I thought I was doing good securing the date so early! LOL We haven't decided about the DJ yet...I'm trying to get a quote for his fee, light up dance floor, etc. I've heard good and bad reviews about DJ Mannia. Some of the bad I heard was that he didn't stick to playlists, didn't want to take song requests and the MC was really cheesy. Have any recent brides used DJ Mannia and had a good experience?

@Sharon99, What is the approximate cost of the catamaran cruise? How many people do you have going? We are interested in providing some type of excursion for our guests and were thinking about possibly taking everyone to Margaritaville after our wedding reception. But I do like the idea of a catamaran cruise or sunset cruise. Lynn

Hello ladies, I'm new to this forum but so excited to read all your posts. I'm getting married at EPM on March 23, 2103. I'm going to Mexico later this month (a trip that was already planned before choosing Mexico for my wedding-a bunch of family and friends celebrating my brother's 50th birthday). I was planning on renting a car while I'm there this month and going to visit EPM, Excellence Riviera Cancun and El Dorado Royale just to make sure I had made the right choice (I have the date held but have until May 1 to send in the contract). But you ladies have seriously calmed all my fears and I don't even feel like I have to go through all that. I'm definitely going to get married at EPM and I'm so excited to be able to check this off my list! Iciz you have been so helpful with all your posts and you looked absolutely stunning for your wedding! I emailed N last week to ask her some questions. Now I know why I haven't heard from her...if she's not responding to you ladies getting married within a week or so I know she's not responding to me who's getting married a year away! I attended my brother's wedding at the Excellence Punta Cana in March of 2010 and it was absolutely beautiful. I'm actually considering the Excellence in Mexico because of how wonderful their wedding was and how awesome my sister-in-law said they were to work with. Her day went off flawlessly. We had about 40 people that traveled with us and we all had an amazing time! The customer service was exceptional, the rooms were great (not very updated, but not bad), the pools, beach, entertainment and activities were all great. The only reason I'm not going back there is because there will be a lot of the same people attending my wedding and I want to bring them to a different location.

Wow! I'm considering El Dorado Royale! Have you already had your wedding there? If so, congratulations! Did you stay there to honeymoon or go somewhere else? Hello there, I stumbled upon this forum and am so excited about connecting with everyone up here. I'm planning a wedding for March 2013 in Mexico. We're tentatively booked at the Excellence Playa Mujeres but we're traveling to Mexico at the end of this month and looking at 2 other resorts as well. I'm planning to have an all white wedding...guests, bridal party, everything with a splash of purple as the accent color. I'll have lots of questions going forward I'm sure!
