I'm doing 4 as well as I don't want to pay the extra $600 to do it later. You could push your reception time (or whatever you are doing) back and do pics in between the ceremony and reception. Just an idea. Since you are bringing your own photographer you could just go with the flow of the sun for pictures. If you actually go to the beginning and read all the pages, there are some great reviews and tips. It's a long read, but definitely a good one. Answers soo many questions we all have.

I went through my stuff and it all says mail notarized copies of all the documents and bring the originals with you. I'm not understanding actual copies versus photocopies. Did you send copies of the notarized documents? I know they want the original copies of the documents with the notarized information. I also know they want them mailed. I would just call your coordinator back and get the exact information and how they want it. Good luck.

I think the night minimum is 3 days, so you just have to book the photographer in a room for 3 nights. I know people have said before they used Ileana or Tropical Imaging and booked them in a room and used the room as an extra or storage. I was also looking into that idea with Ileana, and it's cheaper to add her as a third person to a room then to get a whole other room. I asked my ta if we could add a person to a room for 3 days where everyone else was staying 10. He said they could, they just needed all the information to actually book it. The sand ceremony container included does have martha stewart logo on it. It's nothing fancy. I thought I had a picture, but can't find it.

I also have Ileana's new photography business information. For newer brides, Ileana worked at Tropical Imaging and had rave reviews for her photography including trash the dress, boudoir, and wedding ceremony. (though for weddings, she would have to have a room booked in her name for 3 nights.) Most people met her off the resort for wedding day photos. So she left TI and started her own company and here's her info below. Company name: Attimi Photography - Life & Love. Captured. Web-site is: http://attimiphotography.com/ Email: [email protected] Phone number: +1 649 4317191

Thanks Kisha. That makes sense. Blakdeevah~ Beaches used to have the whole table set up for a specified amount of money. The bb is still listed as $100 per table and the seaside one was $500. It looks like now it's a la carte. Now you can pick and choose what you want and interchange everything. I believe just the centerpiece from seaside is $225 and that's probably per table. Have you looked at all the options here: http://beaches.com/weddingmoons/weddings/wedding-catalog/ The sit down reception dinner is another separate fee as you get a more private space (as opposed to a restaurant) usually a wait staff and a bartender. Does that help?

That is great information Kisha. I was told that the resort fee for guests not staying at Beaches was a lot more than that. I just went back to the information that my TA sent me and this is the amount he has for Beaches. Day passes are: 10am – 6 pm $200 per adult, $130 per child. 6 pm – 11 pm $220 per adult, $130 per child. I wonder if the information has changed as the rates I have were from the summer.

Hello to all the new brides on here. I just changed my travel dates with my new wedding date. We were supposed to get married this October 13, but we postponed till October 13,2014. I still wanted to keep our original anniversary date, so the only option was to wait another year. It's a very good thing, but sadly now we have to wait even longer. Good news...I'm pregnant! Baby is due late June. So now we are getting married on October 13, 2014 at 4pm. I still want my beach ceremony, and now I can get closer to sunset for the reception. At least I have lots of time to figure out what I'm doing- formal private dinner vs cocktail+ restaurant. I did hear that Ileana with Tropical Imaging went solo and left the company. I'm trying to get in contact with her about her rates as I would still love to try and book her. Happy planning everyone.

Sadly I will have to pull my starfish from the next round. I went to look for it in the piles of wedding stuff and now I can't find it. We also decided to postpone our wedding for a year. I'm pregnant so it's a good thing. Sadly we can't afford a baby and a wedding within 3 months of each other. I will keep looking for the starfish, but wanted everyone to know to not count on it. Who knows where it ended up. I will also be on the look out to buy another one. Any changes I will let you all know! -

Speckles121~ Can you give me your dates of travel? As long as you can get it shipped to JennS, I'm fine with it. I would like to ask each girl that will be using my starfish to make sure that you pay the additional fee to have the package tracked. I know there are a few Canada brides and mailings can get tricky. I will also be asking for personal addresses and phone numbers if there are problems. Thank you! -

AmberDragon replied to roxx0601's topic in Sandals, Beaches, and Royal Plantation Resorts Weddings
Beaches won't let you ship anything to the resort unless you are physically there to retrieve it. Over the next year I will be dividing things I need to take and give them to other people that are going. That way I don't have to take it all. -

I'm soo glad to read about JayKay getting a replacement. It sucks about the journal though. There were a few of you on here that wanted to get in during 2013. I'm starting to make a list, so please confirm your date and location. I know several of the gals interested had really close wedding dates, so it will be a first respond kinda thing. I have a pic posted of it a few pages back and it's blue. I'll start with mine. Who? When? Where? From? Amberdragon October 9-19 Beaches Turks and Caicos Seattle, WA -
Kelly, you need two full business days for residency. So if you're getting married on Saturday, you need to be there sometime Wednesday or before. They can't be travel days, but two full weekdays on the island. We also booked our room and are waiting on airfare. We have to get airfare through our TA in order to get the travel insurance. You can do either one, but we wanted our room locked down. Airfare is usually only available up to a year. Our wedding is in Oct 13 so we have to wait on airfare.

Those look so beautiful Alexa. Jess~ Thanks for the input. I have a veil as well so we'll see when we get there what I do it with. I really appreciate your input! My reception has to be right after the wedding since it's on a Sunday. It's kinda nice just being told what my options are instead of trying to figure out times. I'm thinking about doing a hour brunch reception then a dinner at a restaurant. I still have lots of time which is good since my guest list is still deciding what they will do.

Jessica~ I bought mine from Wedideas.com I chose one that is ivory calia lillies and 3 shades of purple roses. I should get pics soon then once I approve it, then will mail it out. This is the link to the actual bouquet that I modified. Can't wait to get it. If I am satisfied with it once I receive it, I will order all the other flowers from them for the wedding party. http://www.wedideas.com/Purple_Lavender_Roses_Bouquet_p/bqpps006.htm My mother in law talked me into a veil and a tiara. I have seen pics of other brides wearing veils and they are blowing around a bit, but it still looks beautiful.

Hi and congrats! I would start with a TA. There are some on this site and others that people have posted. I've noticed some charge and some don't, but mine does not charge any additional fee. They can also help you figure out which resort fits you better for what you want. Personally I would start there.
