Hola ladies! I finally got my invites finished and (almost) sent out I'm SO excited and have gotten some wonderful responses so far... As usual, many many thanks to all the lovely ladies out there for their inspiration and encouragement. You all are the BEST! I was really slow at first, but I noticed after I set the date and location my posts really picked up! I think this is because I had so many more specific questions regarding my resort and the like.. And of course once you have that information set you can start on DIY's if you're into that! So you will find a lot more forums to follow and post on don't worry!!

I thought about having an "open-house" style celebration when we return rather than a "reception" and possibly having a Mexican theme. Since we are getting married in Mexico I thought this could help those who couldn't make it there still feel like they're there if that makes sense. Plus most of fi's family is Mexican and can make some amazing food that we can serve up buffet style to save money. We definitely won't have another ceremony - but if it were included we might consider it! :-P

My advice would be to think about if you would like/use them if you were a guest. Personally I think they would be very handy to carry your key around and like someone said above for tip money!

So I'm having a hard time deciding who I should ask to be my Maid of Honor.. I have this one friend, *K* who has been one of my best friends since middle school. However, we have had numerous fights over the years where we don't speak to one another for months at a time. We are both so similar (read: stubborn) that small fights turn big, etc., but she seriously is probably the person I am closest to (again, we are so much alike - practically the same person lol). We are getting along now and I don't see any reason that we won't be by the wedding but I feel like other friends (that I haven't ever really fought with) will be offended if I ask K to be my MOH because of our history. What do you think? I also have a gay best friend since birth who I was going to ask to stand on my side and be my "Man of Honor" which would alleviate this issue, but dear Fi doesn't like the idea of males/females mixing sides and will have my best friend stand on his side. What should I do?
