  1. Hooray! Congrats & good luck -
  2. I'm with Marymack in that my guests need to prepare in order to budget for their trip. For this reason I opted to do Invitations with all our travel information in early November this year for our October 2013 wedding (almost a year notice) A lot of our guests already knew we planned on having a DW and were asking questions so this helped to answer them too We will not send out anything else as all information is also available on our website (link included on invitation) except the invitations to our AHR! With all this being said.. it would work just fine to do it how you mentioned above! Whatever you think works best for you and your guests.
  3. Thank you so much ladies! Your words of encouragement are definitely appreciated, it is so nice to feel like all the hard work was worth it! tphanders- Thanks! I bought the shimmery paper at Hobby Lobby and actually printed the ticket jackets at work since I was only using black ink Okay, I absolutely must take this opportunity to send a super huge "THANK YOU" to Miss Kelli! Here's what happened: Last week I left my thumb drive at the printers after printing off extra invitations (see fi adds more people to guest list above ) Long story short? EVERYTHING got erased. As in, there is no longer anything on the drive. Awful. Anyway, Kelli was kind enough to forward my original message containing my invitations and ticket jacket templates back to me! It's not everything I lost but hey it's something And I cannot thank this woman enough!
  4. Awesome thread! I have been trying to decide what to use my Groupon for.. thanks for the great ideas ladies! I
  5. Thanks so much ladies! Unfortunately Fi decided to add a few more people to the guest list so apparently I'm not finished quite yet. Kellip17- I sent you the templates Let me know if you didn't get them for some reason!
  6. I was thinking of the open-houses I've had for like my high school and college graduations. we would have a party from maybe 6-10 or something like that and people could stop by at their convenience to say hello, grab some food and/or drinks, look at pictures from the wedding, etc. That way people don't have to spend their entire evening with us if they don't want to, and we could save money by booking a smaller venue and serving buffet-style food.
