  1. These are size 7 1/2 silver heels from David's Bridal. I wore them as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding in February for only a few hours so they are in like new condition. I really like them, but my feet are really narrow and my toes kept sliding and hitting the floor making them really uncomfortable for me. None of the other bridesmaids had this problem so if you don't have narrow feet, I am sure they will fit just fine. I will ship for free anywhere in the US.

  2. So I just got home from Walmart of all places, and they had sandals very similar to these but the straps were white and the bottoms were a different shade brown but the straps and . They are really cute and I am pretty sure they were under $15. I just ordered some flip flops from Etsy for my dress but I bought these too! Got a lot of other stuff for Jamaica too-looks like they just put out their summer stuff. (I live in Maryland)

Yep, very helpful. Your review was just what I needed to calm my nerves. I will be sure to post about our experience for other brides too. Jamaican Watersports prices were so much better than anyone else's, so hopefully more people will book them that couldn't afford the other companies prices after reading recent good reviews. Thanks!

I wanted to add a more recent review of Jamaica Watersports (the company with the catamaran Freestyle) for anyone considering booking a tour.  I booked a private charter with Jamaica Watersports to take my 24 wedding guests on a snorkel/sail tour in November 2012.  I was looking for an activity that all my guests could do together and I loved that I was able to book a private tour with Jamaica Watersports.  I worked with Denise to book the tour and finalize the details and I found her to be very easy to work with and prompt to reply to my e-mails.  Once I arrived in Jamaica, she even called my hotel room to confirm the last minute details with me.  Denise arranged for a shuttle bus to pick my group up from the lobby of the resort we stayed at and the morning of the tour, the bus was right on time…actually it was even a bit early!   The tour was delivered exactly as I had arranged with Denise and included a stop for snorkeling and a sail.  We had to make one change because we couldnâ€t stop at Margaritaville since it was closed due to damage from the hurricane, but we went for an extended sail to make up for this.  I have no complaints and my group had lots of fun on this tour!

Thanks so much for posting this. I have a tour booked with them for the day after my wedding for our 31 guests (I am hoping they all want to go anyway). So far Denise has been great to work with. Your comments definitely make me feel happy about my choice. Thanks!

Thanks Krista! I forget what the paperwork says - is the steel drum band a per hour charge? Are they charging you for that extra time? I'm not going to be hiring any additional musician(s) for the ceremony. I'm just going to use who they provide with the sound system. I would think that since they are already set up it wouldn't be a big deal, but you never know. I should be starting to finalize things with the WC soon since my wedding is 3 months away, so I will double with her as well.

Krista- The Steel Drum Band is extra. The 2012 price was $350/hr.

How beautiful! I just skimmed through this thread and saw the pictures. Are these expensive?

I just ordered 21 of the eco-friendly ones from justartifacts.com and it was $50 including shipping. They were $1.68 each. They had the best prices I could find. They shipped pretty quickly too. We go 20 cylinder shape ones and 1 heart shape one for us. I am so looking forward to setting them off : )

I dont think theres anyway to do a bonfire andsnot smell like smoke after. If you ask one of the photographers for a sample pick of the fire tey will probably show it to you. When did you get your information sheet/send it in?  I just emailed the resort a bunch of question  asking baout booking hte cajan resturant and the disco and i want to make sure i get it but she said that we will confirm that withthe information sheet one month before but everyone else seems to be saying it would be 3 months before. I want to make sure we get the DISCO as i have heard that if one of the brides from the suites or grand book it before you ..then your out of luck.

Yep I was able to get some sample photos from photographers of the bonfire, they look good but I am back to having the fire the night before due to time constraints the night of the wedding. I got my information sheet right when I booked but I have not got the final detail sheet yet and haven't sent them in anything besides what I had in mind. But I haven't confirmed anything with them yet. I would definitely be more concerned if I was trying to get the Disco, have you told her in that is what you want to do? I would try to get her to agree to it in an email so you have it documented.

  9. My fiance got his suit and we like it. We did the measurements ourselves and kept them pretty much exact, but rounded up based on other girls saying they are slim fit.  They are telling the truth! The suit fits my fiance, but he would prefer it a tad larger...so he is going lose five pounds lol. The company was really good with communication and clarified some of the measurements (he has very broad shoulders and they inquired if we mismeasured they also let us know we sent the incorrect pant opening-we forget to double it). We are having the rest of the groomsmen order from them.

  10. When we stayed at Sandals Whitehouse last March we did the horseback ocean ride. The ride to and from the ocean was not very exciting. Basically you go about a mile down a dirt road to the ocean and go the same way back..but going in the ocean on horseback and swimming with the horses was really awesome and made it worth every penny. : )  Hoping to go to Dunn's River when we go back to Jamaica.
