okay now I am extra excited about leaving for wedding and going to turks coworker just came from vacation there he said it is absolutely beautiful and that I will not be disappointed with the island at all. he didn't stay at resort he has a timeshare but he said the entire island is beautiful

you have almost a year left before your date I think maybe you should give guests more time. I agree with the ladies a lot of guests are probably just waiting for whatever reasons. would hate for you starting all over again and you have already picked your location. unless of course you want to change t hen if that's the case you should -

$5000 is not bad at all. I'm hoping to keep in that range as well

a brunch is a good idea def would save some money

yes this is so true the venues are proving to be quite pricey. thinking of maybe doing a friday evening seems to be cheaper than a saturday or saturday evening. and the alcohol is pricey too. some venues have suggested cocktails and finger foods for a friday night but most will probably be coming after work so I would like a sit down or buffet

oh i really wanna wear my dress at the reception as well but not sure how would be able to. If not atleast want to have it maybe altered to a shorter version.

I am not really sure I actually want a reception like one that would follow an at home wedding but I feel like that would be defeating the purpose of a DW and cost double. I am so torn. I do see a lot of the ladies are having bbqs but i would rather something indoors so that I can play the dvd of the wedding that I am hoping is going to be amazing and detailed for those who cannot attend the wedding as well as lots of pics

Hey Ladies, what is everybody plans for AHR? How many are having formal vs casual. How many are having Indoor vs Outdoor. Please Share your plans. We are planning an AHR but not sure how we want to do things as of yet. How long after your DW are you planning your AHR?
