Ps if your guests stay at the main resort and you and your FI sty in the reserve you have a little privacy )so it really does work out either way!

Some of them are and if the rate is an issue there are some who are staying main resort ! It really doesn't matter because when we stayed there we spent time in both areas! There is only a buffet, lunch grill, and two restaurants for dinner in the reserve plus the pool area that is exclusive ... We went to the main resort for dinner quite a bit and to hang out at night. Hi ladies, Congrats to everybody! I am overwhelmed as well but excited! I have been working with Lauren from Ppr and my travel agent! Both are great!! In hindsight I could have just gone through Lauren but I guess at least I don't have everyone calling me about rates etc... We are staying in the Reserve since we stayed there before and it was absolutely worth it!!!gorgeous modern and a suite! I did stay in the reserve several years ago at their other property paradises punta Cana ! Was great but the reserve blows it away! Lauren emailed me addon price list!! Dj cigar rollers flowers etc!! They sell real hair clip ins ..,.. You can style! Also the trick is teasing the area you are putting the extension on as well as teasing the hair that is right above it... Then gently comb out.. There are probably videos on YouTube! Also ask your hairdresser.... They can show. You how to put them in and style!,,

Hiiiii I got the same tags and labels! Was wondering if you had trouble printing yours? And had trouble with the rebates.... I apparently exceeded the limit on the rebate so I didn't get it on each one. I bought... And I bought several:(. Also I wasted so many tags because even though I downloaded the template and used they didn't print correctly. Was wondering if anyone else had trouble or was it my mistake?

I do have my facts straight! My coworker booked her family vacation thru Beaches directly! I felt horrible for her and her family as well as the brides who were affected. She contacted them having heard from someone who just returned that they just closed the resort. She was not notified and asked when she would have been. The Beaches rep she spoke with told her they were notifying guests as there reservations came up! Unacceptable. She was reassured the resort was reopening before her trip and in fact it did not. They scrambled and were able to book a vacation somewhere else! In fact she returned yesterday! Yes the resort did reopen and things do happen but there was very limited information and nothing on their website. I merely posted this to give people a heads up. I really don't appreciate your hostile response. If I was a bride with my wedding coming up I would have liked the heads up.

We added the sand, sea shells, and glass bottle.... the only additional stuff will be the invite inside bottle, pull tag, and passport book... so it was a pretty fair estimate

Just an idea....I actually got a united chase credit card....30,000 bonus miles just for getting the card, plus we had some miles....and we are using it every month to pay our bills and racking up more miles....lol so if you use to upgrade to first class one way then you can check all bags for no fee! And I don't think there is a limit.... Also check united frequently once you book. Sometimes they offer upgrades for a fee.....last time we went to DR we were able to upgrade for $125 each and our tickets were a great deal to begin with soooo it was totally worth it!

Love what you have done so far!!!! I can totally relate...I also have champagne taste on a boone's farm budget lol! And I have to admit I am really enjoying what I have done so far! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see what else you do!

I just received the sample set I ordered from sand art supplies. It came with one plastic and one glass bottle. The plastic bottle is a little bit smaller than the glass but looks fine. Of course my FI wants to go with the glass... I went to the post office and got pricing on mailing them. The glass was approx. $2.63 and the plastic was $1.95

Congrats!!! They came out gorgeous!!! I can totally relate, we did ours a couple of weeks ago and my FI started referring to our house as the invitation sweat shop...lol They were worth it though! Can't wait to see what else you guys do!

My fiance and I are at odds regarding this....lol The shipping is going to be pretty pricey on glass bottles and I found a website that has plastic! I said to him that I think it gets that cute idea across without breaking the bank since he is dead set on these invitations. I was wondering if anybody has done the plastic and had any feedback on them. We have to send about 80. Thanks

Omg I would never cause an awkward moment or a scene! Sorry if I gave that type of impression. We were thinking of putting something on the invitation stating that your presence is your gift. That is when my friends intervened and said to just accept a gift if someone offers it.

Actually they were yelling at me in regards to a wedding gift at the reception. A lot of friends told me not to expect a gift but if someone gives an envelope then you just accept it. As far as the bridal shower, my mom is insisiting on throwing me one, especially since many people will not attend a destination wedding. I was okay with that, but kind of feel like we shouldn't accept an envelope at the reception. If someone spends that amount of money to attend the wedding, I definitely think that this is their gift to us.
