    I am so glad I found this thread. This will be my 2nd wedding and FI's first. I will be turning 41 two days after the wedding so I was so unsure of what to wear. I found my dress, I just hope people don't think I am trying to look too young. I have three little boys though, who think I will look like a princess My boys and fiance are all that matter I guess.

    g Ok girls. Posting this pic was so hard! So I finally tried on my Dressily Me dress. I love it. I contacted the company June 1st with a picture of the dress I wanted. The only change I asked for was to add a corset back. Paris emailed me a price quote right away and I ordered it around June 5th. My dress arrived June 27th! I have to say, it is not perfect (the to ruffle on the bottom is not centered), but it is a great replica. I do not have it completely tied in this picture so I look heavy and it is not as flat as it should be... but I think its pretty good. What do you think?

    I got my dress from dressily me last night! It is perfect. It fits beautifully and looks almost exactly like the original. I will post pictures soon.

    Well, I just got an email notification that my dressilyme gown shipped! They never even sent me pictures. Fed Ex tracking says it will be here in 2 DAYS! I am so nervous. I just confirmed my order with them on June 6th. I will post pics when I get it. Fingers crossed

    Hi Sarah, The beach bbq is only on friday nights. It is actually at the pool, on the sand volleyball court. It is really nice and they have live music. It is a buffet and the whole resort is there, but you can ask them to reserve an area of tables for the group. I had a hard time paying $45 pp at an all inclusive resort! When my FI were at the Grand Palladium this March, we loved the bbq and the atmosphere. I have heard that you can do a bbq privately, but the prices start at $55 pp. Hope that helps Nikki

    I was working with Ms. Carianne, but she left. I am now working with Ms. Shaniece Morris and she is very responsive. We are not doing a reception. We are getting married Friday so we will all just go to the beach bb-que after for dinner. Nice and informal.

    HI. I was there in March and my FI and I both had steak at the Italian Restaurant. It was fantastic! I did not eat at Bubba's, but I heard that the steak is even better there. Hope that helps.

    I just ordered my dress from dressilyme. I fell in love with Michaela 1511 but did not want to pay $1700 for my wedding dress. I did not see the style on their website, so I sent them photo's and they quoted me a price. I am so anxious to see how it turns out! From what I am seeing on this thread, they do nice work.

    Hello Ladies. I was just looking at our thread, and hardly anyone posts. I have to get on here more. Updates: Sent STD's, and ordered my dress ( Yeah!). Heard from GP that Ms. Carian is no longer a WC with them, so I am now working with someone else. Is everyone working with a travel agent? Do you have group airline rates and hotel rates? I am so confused. Please advise. Hope everyone's planning is going well.

    Hi. There are different packages and each has a color theme. Look on their wedding website and you can see the packages. You can change you bouquets, but at an extra cost. Weddings are done on the beach, in the Gazebo overlooking the beach or at the spa. It is beautiful there! You will love it!

    We did post cards from wedding paper diva's and added a magnet that we made of an old jamaica map. We had the magnets printed by Vista print. We are doing boarding passes for our invites

    Has anyone had extra trouble recently getting in touch with your WC? Can I ask everyone who your WC is? I have Ms. Carian. At first she was great, but it seems she has dropped off now. I called three times last week and I still have not gotten her. Any ideas?

    I am getting married March , 2013. I am having the same trouble with the WC's. I have even called on some occasions and they have put me on hold and then hung up! Very frustrating. My FI and I were just there last month and it truly is a beautiful resort. We loved every second of it, but this is frustrating. I have gotten the best response from just calling until I get the best answer.

    Hello. I am a March 2013 bride at Grand Palladium Jamaica. Can anyone tell me who you used for a TA? I have started with one, but I am wondering if I should go with Destination Weddings. Any thoughts?

    for every guest over 8, it is $20 pp. That is just for the wedding. Reception is $45 pp. if you choose a private reception. I think you have to have a private reception if you have more than 45 people.

    Hi. I am getting married at GP Jamaica on March 8, 2013. The WC Carian booked the date and I sent deposit, however, she asked that I send her a copy of my photo id. Did anyone else have to do this?

    My fiance were just at GP in the beginning of March. While we were there, they showed us where they were going to be building another 700+ rooms. It will be on the Lady Hamilton side. It is supposed to be completed by 2013
