Hi Amy, Sorry to hear about your situation. First, have your guests booked their airfare for the Dec 7th wedding date? If they have, is the ballroom and beach/gazebo available the day before or after? Maybe, you can have your wedding on either of those days? If not, I would email or call someone in the higher command chain about your situation and see if they can accommodate your request or offer additional incentives. I've been to the Royal and know that they have several sit down restaurants. Can they close one of the smaller one for your reception as one of the incentives? If someone in the higher command chain won't accommodate you, I would suggest going with another hotel. If you change your date around the holidays, the costs may be significantly higher for your guests. Hope things pull through for you!

Hi, Does anyone have a recent quote for either tiffany chairs or white wooden chairs? I'm looking to rent them for my wedding next year. The resort is quoting me $12.50 for tiffany and $10 for wooden chairs. HELP! Thanks

I noticed the wedding package for HE was very very reasonable. Is it a private sit down reception for the package?

Hi, There are actually 2 coordinators there. Nubia and Ambar. After a few days of not hearing back, I finally just called them. Nubia picked up and answered my questions. She then emailed me all the details and paperwork. I had a few questions, so am waiting for her to email me back. We are expecting btw 75-100 ppl and are going with the tropical package. It's up to 24 guests for $2250, each additional guest $45. The Tides package is a little less but not in a private area. Each additional guest is $30! Melia is our first choice too so we will book once the WC answers my questions. Hope this helps!
