Hello All, I am a newbie and so glad that I found this site and this forum! Anyone find any cute destination/tropical inspired wedding invites? Currently looking for invitations and save the dates for my 11.17.12 wedding. It is coming up so fast! Anyway just wanted to introduce myself!

What wonderful pictures!!! Thanks so much for sharing, and for the detailed review! I am getting married 11.17.12 and was going to get married at the beach gazebo but now am considering the far beach like you did. I have always wanted to get married barefoot on the beach too, and was a little disappointed to hear that the beach wedding was on a gazebo. Thanks again!!

Hi MrsHamblett2012, I was reading your posts from another thread, and some others' post as well. Now I am thinking of getting married on the west beach where it is more private. I think I read a review where someone posted that they were getting married at the gazebo but decided against it, because it is in the middle of the beach, and everyone would be out, so they wanted something a little more private. I have to talk to the WCs about that. May 11th is going to be here before you know it! How exciting!!! Are you doing OOT bags for your guests?

Hi Ladies! I am a newbee, and have really enjoyed reading all of your posts! We are getting married at the RIU Montego Bay on 11/17/12. Haven't done a whole lot of planning yet, and am still trying to decide my wedding colors. I was thinking sage green, but am now thinking maybe something more bright and colorful will be better...what do you all think? Green is my favorite color, so I was thinking maybe a brighter green, but am not sure. We are getting married at the beach gazebo, and our wedding time was 4pm but our photographer, Michael suggested we make it earlier so that we would make sure we'd have enough sunlight. So now our time is 2pm. We are having the private dinner on the beach, but it doesn't start til 6:30, so trying to decide what our guests should do in between. Was thinking that we will do the cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30, but not sure what to do with my guests before that....any suggestions? I love calla lilies also, but not sure what color I want for my bouquet. We aren't having a wedding party; just two flower girls and a ring bearer. Are you ladies having your hair and makeup done at the salon at the RMB? Does anyone know if they do a test hair do/makeup application before the big day? Sorry for all of the questions, I just have so many! I feel SO glad that I found this thread! Thanks in advance for your help, ladies, and congrats to us all!!! Sinu

Hi Felicia! Great pictures! I was going to get married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach 11/10/12, but changed my location to the RIU Montego Bay because they don't have a minimum night requirement. Congrats on your wedding!! Our wedding date is 11.17.12 and I feel like I hardly have anything ready!! I am still trying to figure out our wedding colors. I was thinking of doing sage green, because I love the color green, but now am thinking I should have a brighter color, because we are getting married in Jamaica...what do you think? We are not having a wedding party, decided that we didn't want to make people spend more money than they will be spending to come down to Jamaica. So we are just going to have our 2 nieces and my nephew as our flower girls and ring bearer. If anyone has suggestions or ideas for colors, please let me know!! Thanks in advance! And congrats again!! Sinu

Hello, First of all, congrats on your upcoming wedding!! We are getting married at the RIU Montego Bay on November 17, 2012. Our photographer is Michael, from Best Images Wedding Photography. Their website is http://www.photoshopjamaica.com/ Michael seems really nice, and gets back to emails ASAP. How is the rest of your wedding planning going? Where are you getting married at, at the resort? We are having our wedding at the beach gazebo. And reception on the beach as well. I am so excited!!!

Thanks so much for responding! I LOVE your idea for the sand ceremony!!! It is really beautiful! So sweet and has so much meaning!!! We are thinking about doing a sand ceremony also, but not sure if we are doing it, because I heard that it's an additional $150 or something ridiculous! I have to check with my wedding planner on that. I believe I remember seeing your travel mugs, are they the stainless steel ones that come in a box of 25? You put a waterproof sticker on it, right? So cool! I am getting really excited about our welcome bags! I know it will get out of hand if I don't limit myself!! I saw some small first aid kits at Dollar Tree and bought one to show my FI to see what he thought. We don't have a number of guests yet, so I don't want to buy too many things just yet, you know? How are you transporting all of your stuff? Mailing it or bringing an extra suitcase? I know you must be so excited!!! One month is gonna go by so fast, and your big day will be here before you know it!!! Our wedding isn't til November 17th. So I have some time to get everything together (and lose some weight!!) haha
