    Hey Angel We sent out our save the dates a year in advance, My feelings on it are if someone really wants to go they will make it happen and if not they wont. Its about what you and your fiance want and you have to do what is best for you! Good luck with the planning!

    LL- i cant believe you are in peabody! i am in swampscott! Suzanne- we have not booked our flights yet... I have been watching kayak.com to see if they will go up or down. They have stayed similar- about 450 from boston. I am hoping they will go down more because I flew from boston in december and paid 350! Just an fyi too if you are planning to fly jet blue they do not have a closet to store your wedding on flight so they suggested either checking it, shipping it, or buying an extra seat. For me, thats a deal breaker so I am looking at other airlines!

    Hey everyone I have another question for everyone- if you are doing a symbolic ceremony, how far in advance are you getting married legally in the states before? just curious!

    im not quite sure.... I am hoping it is! Im not sure if you are staying there for your honeymoon, but my fiance and I are and we thought it would feel a little different because its adults only and it would have a different feel for after the ceremony!

    Hey everyone I plan on staying the main resort at the beginning of our trip and then after our wedding night we are going to move into the royal service part to make it feel more like a honeymoon. I think most of our will staying in the main part as well.

    LL117-If you want to send me a personal message with your email address, i can email you a grid of pricing. I believe if I remember off the dj is 225/h and you must have him for at 3 hours. Luza- I believe your deposit goes toward either your own hotel stay or toward your actual wedding once all the rooms are booked! I havent found a travel agent yet but will probably use someone local!

    Hey Kelly Congrats to you as well!!! We are going with the aqua package and getting married on April 27, 2013! I can not wait!! We are not using a travel agent and I did reserve the group block. You had to do a deposit for a hundred bucks per room reserved. I am hoping that this way too all our guests will be in the same building. Cant wait to hear about everyone details!! Erica

    Hey Pierivik Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! I am getting married there next April so I was thinking about sending out invitations maybe at the 5 to 6 month mark to make sure everyone remembers to put in their deposits? I did sign a room contract. For the deluxe rooms, the rate was 180 per person per night. Does that sound right? Let me know!!

    Hey micheleann I think I am planning on short centerpieces too. Maybe white flowers with short square vases or maybe vases with sand and shells? I want to see what the prices will be for those. For the morning I was thinking just organizing breakfast and maybe going to the spa depending on what my bridal party was to do. I think if you have a breakfast planned by them its $30 per person. Have you heard how the hairdresser and make up artist are? Let me know! Thanks! Erica

    I think we will using the photographer that they suggest who works with the hotel. I think they will know where the best shots will be taken because they know the resort so well! Hopefully this will be true! haha

    Hey sky Im a 2013 bride who's getting married at the paradisus palma real. I actually ordered some save the dates as boarding passes from mypersonalartist.com. I found them on pinterest. I believe they were 2.25 or so for 50 and the cost is lowered the more you get! Theyre pretty simple but are cute.

    what theme are you going with? how was the food when you went? are you planning any extra events for the guests? you will def have to post some pics from your wedding!

    Hey there We are planning on having the ceremony on the beach and then the reception on the olympus terrace by the pool. Im thinking for decor the white chinese lanterns and and probably simple white flowers for centerpieces because we are going to have the aqua theme. Gabi beach looks great but i think its at additional cost and you might have to rent a dance floor if its on the beach. My girlfriend went there on her honeymoon and she said its absolutely beautiful so wherever you choose it will be great. Cant wait to hear how your site inspection goes and your feedback!

We were thinking about gabi beach but its an additional cost, also im not sure if you need to rent a dance floor for it if you are on the beach? One of my girlfriends went there on her honeymoon and said its absolutely beautiful so im sure wherever you choose there it will be great! Ill be visited interested to hear how your site inspection goes!
