Oh my goodness i googled the heck out of Beach Palace. Google it and look for photographers sites- they usually have the most photos. I was just worried about having random people beside us in the restaurant or something... As for DJ I am on the fence I have read reviews where brides say it was a waste of money they just played a play list and didnt speak and it was horrible music at that. My group will only be 20-30 so I think we are just going to bring an IPOD..I have a loud and crazy bridesmaid so Ill make her do all annoucements etc. $100 for the ceremony only. I beleive its $200 a table to bring your own decorations for the reception. I have not signed a contract or anything either . My Travel agent has advised us not to book with a Tour Company until July ish as the rates will be dropping (its expensive from Canada.. lol) so i will acutally book at that time. I have been in contact with Janessa from the Miami office over email and then i had my "phone appointment" with her at the begining of April. She has confirmed my date/time and locations though. Just waiting on the tour companies to offically book. We havent decided how long we are staying.. I originally was thinking just a week with the group.. but I have read in alot of threads brides suggest to stay an extra couple of days to relax after everyone has left. What are your travel dates.. I will be arriving on the May 11 so prob just miss you...

I do have a travel agent but i have been in contact with the Miami Office myself. I needed to personally talk to them because I had so many questions! The beach will be beautiful! I have choosen the rooftop Sky Terrace, I was just floored by the view! This is the main reason I choose Beach Palace. I have booked the South Terrace for my reception. I really wanted it to be outside. But like you I am waiting to see how many actually book. Right now I am guessing approx 20-30ppl. I love the neutral look and diff color bridesmaid dresses! I choose grey and yellow as my wedding colors. Bridesmaids will be in a short chiffon light yellow sweethear dress (might have to order one for myself i love it so much. lol) Honestly the scenery is so beautiful so I decided to go with the complimentry package as well. They have told me it will be $100 charge to have them add any decorations your bring yourself. I will most likely add sashes and maybe some rose petals. Are you paying for the hotel rooms for your guests? Is that what you mean by paying for the blocking? Ivan Luckie is on my list for photographer aswell. I am between Ivan Luckie and Fine Art Studio at this time.. I was told that you have to pay a $500 vendor fee to bring in an outside photographer. But there is no fee for Del Sol. I also feel that everyone seems to get a different answer in regards to outside vendors etc. But the above is what I was told on my phone appointment with the Miami office.

Hi Ladies!!! I am getting married May 15, 2013!!! I also have choosen the Complimentry package for my ceremony and will add a few things. The new packages seem like so much money for only 20min. I want mostly white so the packages were a little much for me. I am also working with Janessa right now. She is really great and very responsive. Just a heads up if you no not choose a Colin Package for the ceremony then you cannot use his package for the reception either. I am struggling with what to do for decorations for my reception. Have you ladies decided on your decor? I am expecting approx 20-30 guests. I have sent out my Save the Dates, but the real invites wont go out until June/July so I do not have a confirmed number yet. -Kristie

I will let you know. I just sent you a message... Are you hiring an outside photographer? If so for what time? I am worried with my 6pm ceremony time i wont have enough time for photos before the sunset at 7:18. Janessa seems to think its enough time but the photographers do not..

Mehgan- This is totally your preference! I think the chairs are beautiful on their own but I also think the pink is very romantic! Whatever you decide it will look great!

Ceremony Time- I am a temporary hold on 6pm but the sun is supposed to set at 7:18 on that day. Janessa has assured me that there is enough time but the photographers I have been in touch with have the oppostie opinion. If the weddings starts on time, 20min, plus hugs etc after words we are looking at only 30min for the photos. Beach Palace only offers the 4pm or 6pm time slot. What is everyone else doing? Any suggestions?

Cathy, I am flying from Calgary and my quotes have all come in around $1900 including taxes per person. So I think $1660 is about right from Montreal. I was also told if i wait a few months before booking that the tour companies would be more competitive with their rates.. As for the 50 people. I would get in contact with one of the coordinators- just call the number on the wedding page of the website. They will put you in contact with Janessa most likely. She is very responsive and will be able to answer your questions..

Hi Laides, "We only book one wedding every other hour so there aren’t any two weddings at the same time. We only use that location for weddings so I wouldn’t worry about that" This was the reponse I recieved when inquiring about booking the sky terrace. If they only book one wedding everytwo hours i dont really see why they cant just reserve it for us but i am sure this is just to cover their a$$ if something did happend and they would have to move the location.

I am not exactly sure what they offer. But when I inquired about the arch, fabric and beading she said it is possible for a charge (of course) I have my phone appointment with her on April 6 so I hope to have all my questions clarified.

Hi Ladies, I have been communicating with Janessa from the Miami office- she said the same thing. That i have to wait 90days out to book the locations. I also chose this resort solely for the sky terrace. I have a temporary hold on my time and date and I am waiting on confirmed rates from the Tour Groups to book. I will take your advise Shan- hope it works! I have anxiety over this!

Hi Renewing 32, I beleive you can still choose the complimentary package and add the elements you like. For example I am choosing to add the chocolate arch with white fabric and the diamond bead drapery (to look like the old diamond package)

Hi Ladies! I am planning my wedding at Beach Palace for April or May 2013- Right now I am trying to confirm pricing. A reasonable price for my guests is most important to me. Any recomendations in regards to Travel Agents, AMA, Flight Centre?
