Hi CancunGirl! They will not allow you to decorate the ceremony site for insurance reasons i believe. They charge $100 to set up your decorations (THis is what I am doing) They charge you $4 a sash to rent them by the way.. Yes $200 per table to decorate your own tables.. so silly! I thought the same as you about the Colin Cowie but you cannot use the Colin Cowie Reception Pakcages unless you use them in your ceremoney. Like you I am going to do a complimentary ceremony so that option is out. They will put you in touch with their rental company who can do all the decor for you.

If you have 75 room nights you recieve unlited complimentry private functions. So if your 30 guests stay 3 nights each your private reception will be free.

Hi Cancun Girl, 1. My budget for my wedding is $13000 not including our flights and hotel. But this includes everything from my dress, flowers, decor, hair, makeup, phographer bridal party attire etc. We are not having a DJ though which would be an added expense. This is for approx 25 guests. I anticipated the wedding to be alot more cost efficent but I find its seems to add up! 2. I do not think this is a right answer. But i do not think the bride and groom are expected to pay for the guests rooms. We are not. I live in Canada and it is costing my guests $1700 each but this is for a week stay. No one has complained and are all really excited to come! 3. I know they book pretty quick so if you have a particular day in mind the sooner the better! I booked in Feburary 2012 and my wedding is May 2013

Hi Ladies, So i understand the Miami office is no longer handling the wedding planning. I used to have Janessa as my contact but now her email no longer exists. They say that someone should be in touch with us soon but I have heard anything. Just wondering if anyone has been contacted by the resort itself yet? I am a Beach Palace bride but assuming you would be dealing with the same thing..
