    I think you recieved a fair price. I am paying $1500 for ipod setup, speakers some lighting and someone to run the ipod for 4 hours, set up and strike.

    Ahh this is horrible! LIke you i picked Beach Palace solely because of the sky terrace. I suggset you put up a HUGE fuss. Call the resort and ask for a manager- continue to email with your concerns and dont let them change this on you. Do you have a signed contract that includes you locations? For any future brides- I refusted to sign my contract unless it specifically confirmed by times and locations. I have a feeling it will all work out Jenni! Try not to stress! just remember you are bringing them alot of buiness and $$ and they should be catering to you.

    Hi Cheryl, I remember it took a while for someone to get back to me aswell. I suggest emailing Margarita- she is one of the wedding planners. Just ask her to put you in touch with the correct person. Margarita Arellano Patiño <[email protected]> I would wait until you have a confirmed date before you book your trip! Make sure you and all your guests book under your wedding block or through one travel agent to ensure you all the reservations count towards your "room nights" the more room nights you have the more free stuff you can get.     I havent even thought about the tipping- I feel like i have put Margarita through the ringer with all my questions. But i would be tipping who ever my coordinator is. I think $50 sounds about right

    Yes i was told I have to pay the $90 visitor pass for the hair and make up person n($190 total)

    OH MY PRICES FOR NORMA WAS FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP. I DIDNT GET A QUOTE FOR JUST MAKE UP. SORRY IF I CONFUSED ANYONE I was told about the 3 hour limit per day. I am doing a cocktail hour and then 3 hour reception (had to pay for the extra hour)

    Oh ok i think i know what your talking about for the Palenque Terrace, Lily from Zuinga is good, she does take a few days to respond. If you dont hear back soon just re send your email. Jenni my ceremony is at 6pm Norma charges $130 per bridesmaid and $250 fo the bride.

She told me i will be in touch with the onsite coordinator 20 days prior to the wedding.     I havent heard of this and my reception is planned on the South Terrace. I feel like they would have let me know of this charge if it existed.

    You can have unlimited but up to 3 hours a day. i am having a welcome cocktail the day we arrive, cocktail after the ceremony and a private reception

    Any past brides have cupcakes at their wedding? We were willing to pay extra to have cupcakes instead of a cake, but they said they dont know how to make red velvet- ( our fav!!!!) This now concerns me on the quality of cupcakes in general...

    In regards to PSAV/ JSAV I had the oppostie experience. We wanted the following: -Ipod dock -2 Speakers -Some one to run ipod -2 tree lights (for extra lightening) -lights for under the table (one long table 35 people) -Gobo to project our monogram on the wall - All necessary cords PSAV quoted me $1600, and JSAV $890 Clearly we went with JSAV. Also JSAV was quick to respond and even called me to go over what i needed.
