Im trying to figure out my wedding day itinerary. Im a little concerned about the short reception....also has anyone cut the cake on the beach right after their ceremony? Or is it too hot, or awkward for ppl to juggle their cake plate and champagne lol. Do ppl have their first dances and speeches during the dinner? Like maybe in between appetizer and dinner, and dinner and dessert? Any advice or itinerary times are helpful :) Also, my wedding is in July

Anyone know if there's a limit for the welcome dinner? I have about 50 people and was hoping for a welcome dinner at the Japanese restaurant at the Beach resort. Also- if we get married on the beach does my FI and everyone see me before I walk down the aisle?....,

Anyone have or are considering cutting their cake on the beach after their ceremony? I'm trying to avoid running out of time during the reception and thought it may be nice for ppl to have cake then instead of a cocktail party.

Odd question lol but at the iberostar beach resort if you have your ceremony on the beach can you avoid being seen by your fiancé until you walk down the aisle?!

Im doing a budget for my wedding at the Beach resort,,,,seems to be adding up! I just realized its $10 pp per hour for the open bar! Plus the costs of the flowers, dinner rental, centerpieces.....anyone have any suggestions to help with costs at the resort? Thanks

Thanks for the reply about the babies and for the Facebook page ! Does anyone have any input on a ceremony in July being on the beach vs terrace?! I'm worried about the heat on the beach, but I think it's so pretty. Also can the steel pan drums play on the terrace? Thanks!

I'm getting married at the Iberostar rose hall beach next July I'm debating on beach or terrace ceremony. Wondering if the beach is too hot? Also can the steel pan drums fit in the terrace? Any suggestions help!

I ended up choosing the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in Jamaica. Coconut Bay is apparently not in the greatest location swimming/beach wise. However it does get great reviews! But my FI really wanted jamaica. Although I've heard St Lucia is beautiful! Oh and another thing I found it more difficult to find info and wedding reviews on Coconut Bay. Where else are you looking into?

Did you end up renting the restaurant? I am planning on renting the restaurant but worried about there not being a lot of time with the reception ending at 10:30 :$

Does anyone have info if renting out the steakhouse, can you pay the dj and bartenders extra to stay past 1030?

Actually I'm not sure about the free wedding. Yes, I want to rent out the steakhouse! You? I'm getting concerned tho with the fact you can only be there until 10:30:( I was hoping for the wedding to go on later than that!
