Im getting married this July and have a couple questions.... Is Uncle Tonys way too hot for a reception in July? When is a good time to cut the cake other then after dinner? I heard theres a tour desk at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach, jamaicatours LTD. I cant find reviews on them and they dont have all the excursions we want. Is it best to advise my guests to book trips before we get there or can the Hotel book any tour company for us when we arrive? We are going in July, any info appreciated :)

Is the sand at the irhb ceremony site packed or really loose? I want to inform guests as many are asking if they can wear wedge heels. Also did anyone have their cake on the beach following the ceremony?! Any pics, or advice? My wedding is in July, I have no idea how hot it is around 5 in Jamaica. Also how long is the ceremony with a sand ceremony? Any info appreciated!!! :)

For the private reception, I think you now need 100 people minimum. But I think you can also rent out the disco with a minimum of 35 people. A lot of people do a Bon fire, I don't think there's a minimum ppl needed and it seems like fun. Think about what's important to you at your wedding. Look at pininterest and google wedding set ups to see what inspires you. If you have enough bridesmaids you can consider using their bouquets after the ceremony and pics as centerpieces. I am also feeling overwhelmed, my wedding is in July and I'm speaking with the 3rd WC. I am concerned with the 11pm ending time. I feel with the dances, speeches and dinner there may not be a lot of time for guests to dance and party!

It's private restaurant rental

Trisha-Gaye a few months ago told me you can pay $250USD and stay at the restaraunt for an extra hour, until 11. The new wedding coordinator however told me the restaurant rental is for 2 hours?! It's getting confusing. I just want to have a decent amount of time after dinner to dance and mingle with everyone. A lot of my guests will not be interested in the disco. And I do want it to be Just the wedding for as long as possible.

Brides having their reception at Uncle Tonys, did you get open bar 8-11? I'm going to pay the extra charge to stay till 11, just wondering if when you do so they let you still have the open bar till that late?

Does anyone know how long the ceremony is with the sand ceremony?? Im trying to figure out timing with the steel pans, cocktail hour and everything.....seems like theres not a lot of time for guests to mingle and dance with the reception ending at 11! So Im trying to do the cutting of the cake on the beach right after the ceremony with the steel pans and intersperse speeches and first dances during dinner....any suggestions would help :):)

Does anybody know anything about upgrading to the presidential suite at the beach? Do you not know until you check in or can your TA request it?
