Trivera- I'll send it when I get home!! Has anyone started working on any DIY projects yet?

Aquatracie- You can start working on it now. It seems like you have to send a million emails to get any informations. I was just sent an email with the flower options, cake options, and buffet menu. However the WC did not include any of the prices. So that will be yet another email I will need to send her. if you PM me I can send it to you, since I am not up to the 150 posts I can not post it here. I am excited because slowly I am getting pictures of the different options that can be done.

Hey Trivera5521 You should have something soon. I know they don't send email over the weekend. Keep in mind for every 10 questions you ask they answer 1-2. lol So it will be alot of emails back and forth.

I like it. Maybe if I keep seeing everyone Else's I will eventually make some of my own. Please posts the rest when you make them. It's good motivation for me.

After 2 failed attempts I still managed to hit the gym after dinner. I need this week to go right and me hitting the gym at least 2 more times. I upped my water intake this weekend. And made a smoothie after my work out for a snack. And some additional for breakfast in the morning. All I need to do is stay focused and not loose a determination.

Really personalities come out when there are good times as well as bad times. When anything outside of the everyday norm happen. You have the people that avoid talking to you because they can't afford it. Then people avoiding you because they are jealous. I mean there are a million reasons. So at the end of the day all that matters is you and your FI.

Sad to say but our weddings are yeally only important to us. And a few more folks. My little brother choose his frat over my wedding. But oh well. He just better not ask me for anything.

I say screw it. Don't worry about it. I've gotten some crazy remarks from people that weren't invited in the first place. And they help keep me grounded in my decision. The WC is so I can have the wedding of my dreams on a budget. I would never be able to afford what we are going here in the states. And if someone has a problem...well.....I could care less. After all they are not spending one cent to make our wedding happen. We are. If someone can't afford it then too bad. Those that I really care about coming but can't make it, I'm fine with that. I understand it is a cost. I don't want anyone to be evicted, or without lights just because they came to my wedding. Honestly I think some people respond like that because they are jealous. I've learned that lots of people wish they would have had a DW.

Haha so we initially had a budget of $5000 and I thought that was high. We are now at $9000. But we are six and a half months away. I have yet to start doing some of the other little details so I don't know if it will be higher than that. My co-worker is currently on her DW and she said it cost her $3,500 total. I so thought that we would spend around that amount. She stuck with the free wedding package. We are going with the second highest one. And I want to add some little touches here and there. But over all we just do not have $20k for a wedding. We are buying a house this year as well so it's a lot of money at one time out of only our pockets. But I'm happy. I know over all we are still spending way less that would we would in the states. And we won't have anything half as beautiful as our DW in NC.

OK so I finally received an email asking mentioning a deposit. I feel much better. I guess it must be because we were going to use the Mint Breeze package at first and then we switched to the Strawberry Passion package. I guess the lower packages don't require the deposit.

We are staying 7 nights total. But what we have done is told everyone the days for the wedding is 10/13-10/16. We will be staying from the 11th until the 18th. I set up our wedding website with all the information for 3 nights and 4 days. I wanted to ensure that we have alone time. So we will have time before the guest arrive and after wards to ourselves.

We are paying for everything ourselves. I wish someone is helping us. I'm still scared about spending this much money. We are having our house built now as well. So we will hardly have any savings when everything is done. But this is our future so every penny is worth it, And like others have mentioned. We don't have to worry about doing things other people's way.

Oh my That is so scary. I was just fitted for my dress on Monday. Mine is being custom made. My goal is for it to have to be taken in. Ok time to really step it up. I want to lose 35-40lbs by October.

OOOO I just googled them and I like it alot. I sent my sister the link to look at since she is the MOH.

See I have received my confirmation letter. So our wedding is booked and confirmed for the Strawberry package. But She has yet to mention anything about a deposit. That's what makes me nervous I guess.

Hi Sunny55143, I will definitely PM you. But I will ask you this question in the thread. What do you think about doing a site visit vs not doing one? I feel like all of my questions would be answered with one visit.

Exactly. we are not exchanging rings, going out to eat or anything. Don't want to make it anything bigger than doing paperwork.

It was sweet because that was our favorite dessert that we always ate together when we first started dating. So it was a good memory. But it is also why I have weight that I need to lose now. lol

I decided on the beach reception. But I wonder if I should be concerned. Jeanne has not asked me to pay a deposit yet. Aquatracie can you tell me what the process is that you followed when you booked your wedding? I just want to make sure everything is on track for ours.

He helps some days and ten does damage oth thays. Yesterday was our 2 yr anniversary and he bought a deep dish apple crumb pie and vinalla ice cream home. Now you know I just had to have some. Stuff like that does not help. lol
