Completely agreed with MoniqueJ. we can't afford to come "back later" any time soon. And we still want to enjoy our honeymoon together alone. But really what matters is what you do decide to do. Because at the emad of the day the wedding is about yall.

I bought 25 on Friday!!!! I was so excited when I walked in and saw them in the front. I snatched them up and left the rack empty. lol. I know the people in the store were like WTH.

We invited 37 people but I don't think we will have any more than 25 max. Which is perfect. We want to keep the budget down as much as possible. And we want it to be intimate. We will be having a party when we get back to celebrate. And even that will be simple. But that way we will catch all the rest of the people that are missed. Most people don't get offended when you say it is an intimate wedding our of the country.

We are staying from the 11-18th. But on the Save the Dates and on our wedding website we put the 13-16th. I know most of our guests can't afford to take a whole week off which is great for us. And if they can we don't really want them to know exactly how long we will be there and which days. So to allow us time together we just listed the group travel dates. We have been telling everyone if they want they can come early but the date everyone is leaving it the day after the wedding.

Yup the beach reception is $65. I asked about that in the past as well. But I have a question and would like to know if anyone has any info. Does anyone know who the resort uses as their DJ? I'd rather have someone I can contact myself instead of relaying the info through the wedding planner. Our music style is a little different and I want to be sure we have music that we like played. It makes me nervous just giving the WC my music list.

I just saw the totes at the Dollar Tree by my house. I bought 25 bags!!!!! I'm so excited. Just enough.

Hi Bubbles. Congrats!!! We are doing a symbolic wedding. It's just easier. We are going to the justice of peace and signing the papers here. We consider it as us just getting the legal work out of the way. We will not be exchanging rings, going out to eat or anything. We might even just do it on a lunch break. We are not telling anyone of our plans either. Just grabbing our one witness and calling it a day. Our wedding date will be the day we are standing in front of our friends and family exchanging vows.

I was going to have this issue at first. But since our wedding is small my FI wanted us to keep the bridal party down to just his brother and my sister. Which is soooooo much easier. Only one body type to choose a dress for instead of three different types. And my sister is young. She can wear anything and look nice.

This list is great. I will have to borrow some of these.

I'm not going to have guests RSVP because that will make it too formal. Or maybe I will just do an FB invite and let poeple say they if are coming. I want to make sure people know that it is casual and not to expect some big grand thing. There will be music, so there will still be dancing. We just don't want to do anything extra.

We are having a simple AHR. Maybe not a true "AHR" but we made a simple budget of $500. Mainly we want it to be a "come celebrate with us that we are now married" party. Someone play the music. We make some dishes and have a few other bring something and drinks. We do want to have our wedding pictures playing on a projector all night. And we might have a small favor. But that is it. We are spending enough on the actual wedding. We don't want to be spending money like we are having a second wedding.

Trivera- You know I'm happy to post whatever I have. It's the only way to help each other. This site has helped me so much. So I have to do my share. lol. I know the Tangerine Package includes center pieces but I'm not exactly sure which ones. If you go through some of the pics I posted I believe there is one up there with the Tangerine package. I'm doing the Starwberry package so I have only asked questions realting to my package. And the center pieces are not included. I think it is only included for the bridal table. I think. I forwarded you the email she sent me. I usually save the pics on my home computer and work computer. But I've been emailing you from my personal email.

I really like this. I wasn't going to jump the broom but you have really inspired me. And the link to Etsy was great. I just custom ordered my ring bearers pillow, guest book and pen. I will add the broom as well.

When I first thought of a destination wedding. Way before ever planning one I had mixed thoughts. I loved the idea but I wanted to have everyone I know to be there. That was years ago. But now that I'm engaged I see it completely different. DW are beautiful. You are in a paradise marring the man of your dreams. what could be more perfect than that. I knew there is no way I could have the wedding of my dreams here in North Carolina with the money we have. It would be a really cheap budge wedding. It would be more of what I can afford to do instead of what I want to do. Of my married friends not one had a hooneymoon. And another had to work on her big day and when the wedding was over she had to wait while her husband helped clean up. I didn't want that. I know I can get people to help and do some work. But I don't feel right about it. I want my guests to fully be guest and just show up and have a good time. I want everyone to have as good of a time as us. I don't want to be working or stressing out the day of my wedding. I want to fully be able to focus on me, my husband and our day. And I wanted to have a honeymoon. DW weddings are purely the way to go for us. We are paying for everything ourselves. But even if we weren't we would still go this route. It just makes sense to us.

Hi Yanick Delpino. You're almost there!! I have noticed that the emails have been slow for the past 2 weeks. Who are you emailing? If you go back a few pages I added a bunch of pictures. I think they should help some. Every time I send an email I ask for pictures of something so I am getting more and more. I will keep posting them as I get them.

Oh that's a good idea. I didn't even think about doing that. Sounds like a good idea. I'm using them for labels and a bunch of stuff. The more I can get the better.

This site is the best. I would have never had half of these ideas if it wasn't for the website. There is just so much information.
