LOVE the Bubba Mugs!!! Which website did you get them on?

This looks great for sunglasses. We are getting Married at sunset and unfortunately my guest will be looking into the sun.....We are having a table right by the ceremony area with a sign that will read...."Don't be blinded by our love" Cheesy, I know. But they the glasses would be a great item for the OOT bags as well.

Do any past Brides know if we have to purchase a day pass for the D.J. or get a room for him like the Photographer? Basically other than the electricity fee does Barcelo punish us for choosing an outside vendor? Thank you in advance. Happy planning!

I will be wearing an ivory gown. I purchased my shoes from Davids Bridal and I am having them dyed to the color of my bridesmaids dress (peacock blue). The shoes them self are encrusted with crystals and I think should be perfect. I'm hoping that it will be a little way to tie it all in together! Hi everyone! I was just wondering if any one knows if the resort allows the use of cold fireworks?!? I have found a D.J. and it is included in his package if its allowed by the resort. Did any past brides where their originial dress for their TTD session? I am wondering how the dress held up and if it dry cleaned well! If so what material was it. And did you think it was worth it? Yay!! DATE TWINS!!! I'm not sure what the reason is/was....I've since moved on and I'm focsuing on the next steps (they placed us at the Palace Pool area.) I'm sure its gonna be perfect!! What time and where is your ceremony? We are 6:00 at the Gazebo. How big do you think your crowd is gonna be? How far along are in in the planning (I feel like I'm way behind and I haven't heard from my WC in a month) I know I am full of questions....I think we have picked a busy day to have a Wedding there. I hear that sometimes they have up to 6 weddings a day, and I strongly suspect that our wedding day may be like that!! Needless to say I am so excited, hopefully we will run into one another and we can toast one another on our future Marriage and all the hard work we both have done to make these weddings happen! All the packages are the same no matter which hotel you stay at. It really just depends on the package you pick as to where you can get Married and have your reception! Really the only difference is if you choose to do something at the palace (ex: have your ceremony at the gazebo you may have to end up paying a little extra per person (IF YOU DON"T STAY THERE), I think I read that on the unofficial Barcelo Maya Forum website THIS SITE HAS LOTS OF GOOD INFO TOO!!) But when it comes down to it there really is NO difference, other than what you want to pay for your room and the amenities that come with each resort. Some of the beaches that the Palace brides get married at and or have their reception at is actually at the Tropical or Beach resorts....The complex itself is HUGE, BEAUTIFUL, and in a nutshell perfect. Most of the pictures you probably see are in fact at the Tropical or Beach areas....With it getting so close to November you may not get a huge selection as to your choices of reception area...They may end up putting your reception at the palace no matter what. I started planning in December for my 10-6-12 wedding and there was ONLY 2 choices as to where I could get married. Good luck and happy planning I hope this helps you a little.

It has been over a month since I heard from her and usually it takes a couple weeks but NEVER this long....I am right in the middle of planning and she won't answer back!! I'm going crazy not hearing ANYTHING!! I wanted all Yellow, however I bought them in every color and I am hoping to find all yellow, (or of one color) I decided that I would buy them all and exchange the ones I bought as I found the yellow ones....Then if I don't find all yellow at least I will have all of the same bag if they all sell out....Its a seasonal item and I'm not sure if they will re-order. We have invited 178 ppl.....I'm so so so so scared a ton of people will show up. I tried and tried to cut it down and bottom line we have too many Friends and Family LOL!!!!! Which is why we had picked to have a DW. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will keep it between 60-75 In my opinion the smaller the better. I'm getting worried about my pocketbook.
