JamieLynn... sorry I just like saying your name. It's an aisle runner. This is just the beginning of my project, but once completed it will be about 32 feet long, and there will be 2. One on end end of the path way.. I've seen ladies do a full aisle runner, but for me, my guests will also walk down the aisle to their seats and it would probably get messed up before Miss Priss here can strut her stuff down the aisle.. lol..
  2. Thanks AllieH!! )) Quote:Originally Posted by EVKnowsitall  You really do have great curves and with the close up we get to see the delicate details of the dress which look great. You look so happy in the dress lol that's how you had to know. When I was trying on different pictures, in all of them I have this funky face but in the one I was all smiles. You look over the moon in these pics- it was meant to be. D'awww.. Thank you!!! )) You are right, the expressions on our faces show our love for the right choices!.. I have a few pics with my eyes closed but the biggest smile! )

I love scary movies now, but i was deathly afraid of that creepy ass doll lol... I actually got rid of all my baby dolls after chucky 2 hahaha LOL... I'm gonna have to check it out!! Everyone here talks about her and her mom non-stop! LMBO... That is hilarious!!!!!! I'll have to have a recap of all of them this weekend. lol.. I bought the Sexy Chucky outfit just now. I got the costume, red heels, and the wig. It's insane how cheap costumes are made!

She is a blonde chick and she is super southern, it's gonna be a riot! heheh.. I loved horror movies growing up. Everyone told me I was weird!.. lol. Honey Boo Boo is from here..(Alabama) I think.. 7. Thanks Ladies!!! ) They have been a huge hit with our guests! I was happy to hear several times what company did them. ) Sosodj, I used Word. but Powerpoint and Publisher were my side-kicks for adding special touches to the map, wordings, and other pictures.
  8. Ahh.. That is gorgeous!!!! I want yours!! I love that neckline and the beading! You look AMAZING!! I've got to get off this forum!
  9. Good Morning Ladies!!! I have never been to a real Halloween party, so I'm hott on the trail for an awesome costume this year.. Last time I really dressed up was a night out on the town a few years ago.. Here was my costume.. What are you ladies planning on being this year? Or what was your favorite costume in the past that you wore yourself or saw on someone else? Last time when I dressed up, I really wanted to be a Sexy Chucky, but everyone sold out fast since it was a new costume.. But I see they have it again... Thoughts?... http://www.partycity.com/product/adult+sexy+chucky+costume.do?sortby=ourPicks&size=all&from=Search&navSet=sexy+chucky Also, feel free to post pictures of your costumes!! )
  10. Thanks Kisha for all your advice!! ) What's a tough mudder? I'm thinking I might go tonight to find a nice pair of quick dry capris.. If they are cheap since they will probably be trashed afterwards. I too don't want any mudd in odd places.. LOL.. I'm thinking of wearing bikini bottoms under my bottoms to help keep the mudd out )
  11. YAY!!! thank you, I can't wait to get it fitted and the flower removed. lol... Sorry Ladies!.. I totally forgot my future little sis took pictures with my camera as well.. Thanks Tova, I think you just brought a little wet spot to my eyes! I don't have fantastic curves but this dress makes it look that way now that I see it. Whoo hoo.. <--- that's always a major plus!!
  12. lol.. it only took a couple hours to complete this. I did this Monday night after school and before going to bed. )
  13. hehe.. Thank Speckles!! ) I think yall would def have fun doing it! Did you check out all the vendors on ebay for your green? If not, you can always do what I saw one girl do... Buy paint and paint white petals so you have your exact colors.
  14. Update.. Here is what I completed the other night when I started.. I worked on it for maybe a couple hours. I couldn't believe how much I actually completed.. ) I plan to work on it again tomorrow with one of my bridesmaids. I found out from my photog that the aisle runner the resort uses is 10 meters, which is 32.8 feet. Luckily I hadn't cut my tulle down to 25 feet yet!
  15. I always ignore the though of hauling it to our resort... :-/ but I will say it rolls up nicely, but then again I have completed that much.. I think it will end up taking up half a suitcase. Def much cheaper than real scattered petals! ) Aww.. you have have if you want to tackle it. ) But then again I'm planning to take my time because I have a while to go. but it seems like it wouldn't take long if that was the only DIY I had on my mind.
  16. Oh no... My post didn't come through... ( I hate when that happens. I wanted to say thank you ladies!! you are all soo very AMAZING!!! I appreciate your kind words and sharing your experiences with me. I honestly don't know what I would do without all of you!! I have made my decision to stick with the dress I bought. I really don't want to buy two dresses and have to worry with selling one, so I just need to go with my gut! ) When I tried on the mermaid I remember saying how much I LOVED the mermaid, I felt sexy and bridal and it was unique and different which was soo me!.. I get to keep the flowy poof that I originally loved about the Allure without having the abundance amount of poof. My mom also reminded me that even though I loved the Allure, I just stood there saying I love the top but the bottom is too puffy. One thing Alex requested was no crazy poof. The only complaint I had about the mermaid was the flower above the breast but I plan to have it removed and affixed to a pin for my hair. Here are some non-fuzzy images from my camera. (Or at least not as fuzzy as my phone)
