I too had never dealt with one before.. I went with destinationwedding.com.. BIG MISTAKE.. That company is a joke.. After reading many posts from here I was recommended the BDW travel agents. My TA's name is Barbara Vong aka Babs. I highly recommend her as she will have lots of info on ME since that is my destination location as well. ) If you want her email address, just let me know.

Good Afternoon Ladies! I just completed the Warrior Dash last Saturday and now I am officially hooked on Mud Runs!!!.. I found 2 mud runs coming up next year. March in Birmingham, AL and April in Atlanta, GA. The 2 mud runs support breast cancer so I am all in for these as my mom and aunt had breast cancer. Team Names Already Signed up: Mud Boggin Beauties Dirty Divas Girls Gone Muddy Joe's Dirty Broads Mud Bunnies The Rack Pack The Treasured Chest Tittsburgh Feelers I'm terrible with team names, but up for thoughts: The Dirty Dozen (If 12 of us) Bring on the PMS! (Pretty Muddy Stuff) Hakuna Ma TaTa's GTM.. Gym, Tanning, Mud (for my Jersey Shore watchers) Others suggested to me: Dixie Mud Chicks The Mud Daubers Dirty Deeds Mud Slingers Mud Momma's Mud Sliders I would really like our name to incorporate Mud and Breast Cancer Awareness.. WOW.. I truly feel your frustration.. I am also total appaled by someone who makes good money to ask for someone else to pay for his trip. Your FI paid more towards his BM's wedding than yall are asking him to pay. I see it as that person is not a true friend to him. I honestly feel so terrible for your FI. What did he tell him? I personally feel that if someone cannot afford the trip, then I totally understand. Just let me know up front and I will ask someone else to step in. My FI knew of one guy that he wanted as his BM and before my FI asked him he was all about going no matter what. But his wife jerked his chain and is refusing to go due to not leaving their child at home or traveling with her.. Yet they are going to our Destination wedding spot this month.. All done after the whole ordeal. So I feel soo bad for my FI. He doesn't even want to ask anyone to be on his side until they have booked their trip. I see where he is coming from as I have asked 5 girls and I'm not sure who will really go. They are seem excited but this week one or two are using money excuse. I kinda told them that I understand if anyone has money issues, but I would like to know now (should have known months ago) so that I can make other arrangements if needed. I'm sorry but I will not accept the excuse of "I have no money" a couple of months before the wedding when I asked these friends to be by my side well over a year in advance. My FI and I set up a savings account and put away $100 each a week. We have it withdrawn automatically and we never miss the money. With that, we have went in halvies on everything and purchased our photog with a deposit $500, travel arrangements $3011, my dress $1000, and still have a ton saved. <--- the best idea my fiance has ever come up with!! ) Other than marrying me of course.. lol. But honestly great idea if any of you ladies feel the frustration of saving. I have also told my friends about our saving advice and a few are starting to do the same. )

What's with the WOW's and oh my's.. Am I honestly the only one with an abundance amount of wedding stuff.. :-/

We are staying at an AI, but from what I understand a semi private dinner is free for our Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner. We are getting married on a Wednesday and we are arriving on Monday. Personally I feel 2k is a little steep for an AI resort. Especially since it's just a welcome/rehearsal dinner. I think a cocktail reception would be neat and much cheaper bc guests can mingle and then head to whereever they want to eat. For the semi-private for 15$ pp... Can they just charge a fee per person after the 30?

YIKES.. Well I use my own boxes so you wont need the fee for a special box. Do you have Aloe at home? If so, weigh 16 if you have that many, or weigh 8 and x's that by 2. )

I didn't at first.. Til I started loading my buggy up and realized one was slimmy on the bottom.. Then noticed the expire date and was like YIKES!.. But then again.. I think as long as it's not a year old it should be good.

Well I will be more than happy to!.. We can check shipping online.. I've never sent anything to Canada to know the cheapest route. I can ship from 35180 (AL) or 30144 (GA). Some times I find it cheaper to ship from Alex's state, not sure why.

They had them a few weeks ago. I hadn't bought them yet because the expire date was right at our wedding date. I hope they still do when I plan to purchase! If you need some shipped to you I can do so. I'm thinking/hoping items like this will go on sale soon at other locations since Summer is over.. But still probably not less than or $1.

I've also seen palm tree ones I like on ebay, but haven't committed to anything yet. I'm scared to wait and get anything at the resort.. Good idea.. My bridesmaid also mentioned this.. but I don't even know where to start.. I'm really hoping I can luck up and find the same dress in everyones size since I have a few months I can look. My mom said she would agree to buy all 5 of my bmaids' dresses since they are paying for the trip. ) I thought that was super sweet! Can't wait to see how yours turn out! )
