I get soo excited when I see threads about Atlantis(even if their older)... lol... But I do love hearing how amazing Atlantis and the Cloisters are!! It makes me soo excited about our choices.. ) And I love, LOVE, how Atlantis offers group rates for 1/2 the price of their normal rates. I wish some future Atlantis/Cloister brides would come forward so that we can share our excitements and planning details together..

I know this is an old post and you may not be a member any longer.. but if so, when is your wedding or has it passed? I was curious if you was still planning or had your wedding at Atlantis. Would love to hear your feedback. I am planning our DW stay at the Atlantis resort.

Thanks Ladies for sharing your recent trips to Riu on Paradise Island.. This was one of the resorts we was looking at before we fell in love with Atlantis.. I hope this is a much better choice although we are loosing the all-inclusive factor.. As always, thanks for sharing!

Sorry to butt in.. but do you ladies know anything about the Chinese sky laterns? My fiance loves them, but I wasn't sure if those are banned from the Bahamas or anything. Also, we are staying at the Atlantis, and since food seems to be rather expensive we plan on adding crackers and snack foods to our OOT bags and once we get to the island we're gonna go over to the grocery store and get cases of water so we can put bottles in the bags and not have to worry about traveling with them.

I did a lot of searching today and I found some lanyards that I can get for about 50-60 cents each if I buy in increments of 20. (which is no problem since I will need about 40.) This includes the sealable pouch and the part that does around your neck. For you ladies that have bought lanyards or plan on purchasing them.. Are these a good deal or have you found better deals elsewhere?

I hope my picture didn't turn out too small.. But I wanted to share these great items I found today at my local Dollar Tree.. Well I went to Target first and bought the Johnson & Johnson first aid kits for .97 cents.. I was excited about these.......until I went to Dollar Tree. But first.. items in picture. LCD Silicone Sport watches.. Got some for the kids in my wedding colors.. Orange for boys, pink for girls, and of course a pink one for myslef. $1 Each Chap Ice - these were in Cherry, original and "crazy flavors" which consists of rasberry and watermelon. 3 pack for $1 Hand Sanitizer - I haven't smelt these yet, but they were a 2 pack for $1. I'm gonna have to go to another dollar tree to find more of these because my store was all sold out except for this one. Kleenex Packs - 8 packs for $1 And last but not least... My first aid kits. The ones I got from Target are going back this week. Yes they were .3cents cheaper.. but here is the break down of why I'm choosing to spend the extra 3 cents on each one.. Johnson & Johnson (12 Items) 2 Hand Cleansing Wipes 4 First Aid Gauze 2 regular sized band-aids 4 small sized band-aids Dollar Tree Kits (42 Items!) 5 sheer regular sized band aids 5 sheer small sized band aids 10 spot band aids 10 tiny band aids 3 clear regular sized band aids 2 regular regular sized band aids 1 large bandage 2 Gauze Pads 3 Alcohol Pads Sorry for the long post... But I hope this thread is helpful for someone. )

Is anyone else using these for their OOT Bags? I'm having to make about 20 OOT bags or more and wanted to use the most cost effiecient bags I could possibly find.. At first I was considering paper bags in my colors.. But after browsing soo many different stores, I absolutely LOVE those shiny looking reusable shopping bags!.. And best part, you can find them for less than $5 each and they are a pretty good quality, seeing how they are "reusable" shopping bags. But I've seen some that look just as good if not better than $20 beach bags I've seen. Where are you lades buying yours? I would love to see pics! Anyone using yellow/gray colors, Best Buy has some super cute and big ones right now. ( I was soo jealious!) I'm not sure of the price, ( sorry. But they are def worth looking at if you want to use those colors! Also, Michaels has some great ones for girls if you are doing kid bags (pink and green strips I posted a pic on a thread I created last night for OOT Bags for girls) and they also have red striped ones for younger girl and larger bags in red and yellow, I believe. Colors may vary from store to store. My colors are pink and orange.. If anyone happens to come across any that may match, that info would be greatly appreciated. If if they have white, black, brown, tan or silver mixed with orange or pink those would even be great!

hehehe... I do the same thing.. I'm on this site all day long... while at work, home, my fiance's... :shameonyou: I'm soo addicted to this site. I use it wayy more than I ever use my facebook anymore. Hopefully we will get to have an app before too long.

Well I'm glad to hear they were such a great hit! I hope my guests will enjoy them just as much! I was in need for some of these for wedding I went to and even at my local TJ Max I paid about $20 each for them and they seen to be the same quality as in your picture. Hello Ladies, you all have done a fabulous with your OOT Bags! Thanks for the inspiration and ideas!! I am now really wanting to add Pashminas to my bags for the ladies.. I was thinking of doing my colors at first.. But I think it would be best to go with a color that will match whatever they wear.. So I am thinking black, white, or ivory, or even grey/silver.. Do you ladies know where I can find some that are a good quality online? Or possibly at a store I would have locally? I am going to need approx. 20 or more of these, so of course I want to get a good deal. Thanks in advance! )
