Ahh, perfect!! I def want everyone to feel included. I have added or will have added everyone to our Wedding Website so if some happen to go on and RSVP to the wedding, I guess we'll make them a invite (passport) and make sure they get it. I just really hate to send our official invites to everyone, since they are soo time consuming. what type of Save the Dates are you planning on doing? When do you plan to have your AHR and when are you going to send invites? I was thinking we should have it on our 1 month mark which will be a Saturday and send invites and RSVPs maybe a month or two before we leave. So far I have only included an AHR RSVP.. I guess I should go create an AHR tab and just say Details to follow or something so that when we send our STD people will see we are planning on having an AHR.

Ladies, I need your help.. We are almost at our one year mark and we want to get our save the dates out as soon as I get them typed up and printed.. But I am wondering who all should we send them to? I'm wanting to do Save the Dates with our pictures since a lot of his family members haven't gotten to meet me yet and vice versa. We are only inviting our close family and friends to our Destination Wedding because we assumed extended members may not want to or can't afford to travel. We do plan to invite everyone to an AHR (no dates, location, or plans have been made for this yet.) But we are wanting to send our Save the Dates to everyone in case some people mention they want to go to the DW. How are you ladies wording your Save the Dates if you are having the same senario as me? What are your suggestions on whom to invite?

lol...this girl right here is dreaming as well.. WOW.. That is insanely expensive, they are good, I will give them that. But they aint THAT good.

I sooo badly want to!!!.. Trying to find a great photog and videog in a good price range. Corresfilms, recommended by Majestic Elegance does amazing videos and pictures!.. However Elegance will only allow him to do videos at the resort.. Not sure why but Diego responded to me and said he could only do video because they had another preferred person for pictures, but he recommended Phil Steingard.. If I go with seperate videogs and photogs it's going to put us at about 4k for both and that doesn't seem reasonable.. So we are still looking.

Is there a better site to look at videos? The ones I found weren't really video's they seemed more like still images being recorded.. Maybe I was in the wrong place... ?

I 2nd that!!!.. I love their photos!! Especially the underwater ones.. I received a quote for them yesterday and unfortunetly just their travel fee's are 2500 before we add a wedding package so we wont get to use them. (

I too have read many pros and cons of photography before and after the ceremony. Before I was totally set on him not seeing me until I walk down the isle. but then I saw some really awesome videos of the bride and groom meeting just before the wedding and the videographer and photographer catching those moments.. I just think it's something that we would want share together and be able to get our nervous jitters out because my FI and I are both pretty nervous individuals. And then after the ceremony I want to have plenty of time for pictures of all our families and some while the sun is setting as our guests head to dinner. I made change my mind again in a few months, but so far this is my plan.

Ugh.. Tell me about it.. This was the one thing I'm considering giving in on. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having battles.. But I wish we didn't have to, this is OUR day!.. My TA is checking now to see what can be done.. When I was checking times and days they seemed to be totally against Civil ceremonies and would only confirm us a symbolic ceremony. So that's how we ended up with that choice.. Yea, if I were you I'd book the 1:00 before someone else does, just in case.. I'm not sure how their confirmed dates work. Without telling people to put a deposit down, how will they know if people are serious? do they just wait til that person wedding day to see if they show up? that's one thing I really don't like about that resorts wedding process.

Does anyone have an excel file template that they are using for their addresses? I just realized we haven't gotten address yet from our families.. I'd like to get a list for STD's and a List for Invitations and possibly a list for AHR. I have a great form I found online, but it was in print out only. It looked something like this. Name: Address: and then check boxes for RSVP, STD, Invites, Reception, etc. Thought you ladies might have found something better that I can send to my future inlaws so I can keep everything in the same format. I have seen many Save the Dates, but since my BDW brides seem to be the best at DIY's, I'd love to see yours!!.. (Please post them here) We are thinking of Save the Dates with a picture on them since many members of our families haven't gotten to meet our other halves yet. I really want magnetic save the dates, but to cut down costs I plan to print our own and cut magnet strips and adhese them to each. Thoughts and Ideas are more than welcomed!! )

I really hope this works out for you girl!!!.. We are confirmed for 6:00 for our symbolic wedding, but now we have requested a civil ceremony.. I hope we don't lose out spot, but our families were not happy about us having to go to the courthouse to get married first.

I want magnets, but with the prices and our long list of people to send to, I was thinking about printing them on cardstock and attaching a magnet to the back of each. (Going to HL today after work to search for huge strips of magnets that are cutable. )

OMG... there is no way!!.. Are you working with a TA? I've heard them mention to people they only reserve wedding dates with the brides Travel Agents... Maybe certain travel agents block times or are alotted so many?.. Im not sure, but I def agree there is no way they are that booked up.. If you are using a TA, who are you using?

Do you have all the fine print they listed for those? I've been looking for them a while and haven't seen any lately..
