Ahh okay.. well I totally understand with you having to pay for the whole wedding yourself. We too are saving up and paying for our own DW and possibly the AHR.. We are hoping to keep everything, included travel costs, to under 15k. We started saving around February and have 100 or so automatically come out of each of our paychecks and go directly into savings accounts. <--Awesome idea on my fiance's part. I never miss the money and it's adding up rather quickly. And I'm soo with you about expenses adding up quickly.. I love the budget program on weddingwire.com.. Although I realized I have already spent over $500 and not a whole lot to show for it. :-/

Okay, so I'm a bit worried at the moment...I really wanted to have raffia fans placed on each of the chairs for our guests at the ceremony. But I didn't want to get too ahead of myself so I haven't bought them yet.. Well, Oriental Trading no longer has raffia fans listed on their site!!! I noticed 2 weeks ago they weren't there, but I thought maybe they were just out of stock since they seem to be soo popular. Has anyone else noticed this, does this happen often?.. do you know of a different site that has just as good of a deal? Or do you recommend a different type of fan all together?

Hello Ladies.. I love to look at the clearnace isles at Walmart to see what I don't need.. lol.. But the other day I found an awesome deal!!.. Wilton (I believe is the brand) But they say Thank You with a black scrolly design on the front and you can print the inside from their website to your likings.. 50 thank you's - $4 So, I purchased 150 for $12.00 AWESOME DEAL!!!.. Just thought I'd share to my fellow brides looking for great deals.

Are you trying to insert saved png/jpeg images or the actual pictures themselves. I've learned all about the MS Office Suite thanks to my passport invite attempts and other DIY paper projects.. But I'd have to see it to tell you exactly how to do it.. The different version PowerPoint and Word and Publisher don't like to mix real well, but be rest assured that you def can!.. ) I found that using Publisher and Word were the best.. But as far as changing colors to images, I used powerpoint. If you want to email them to me I can attempt to move them over like you like or try to tell you how to do it. Or I'll try to find my old projects and test what your having issues with.

We too are going to do an AHR after returning from our DW. We live in seperate states right now, but we will have our AHR in his home state since that's where we will be living.. I'm at a total loss for how many will actually show but I was thinking of renting a place and doing light hor'durves.. <-- I have no clue how to spell that. :-/ And we will have possibly: water, wine, beer and soda's. then of course wedding cake and dancing. We honestly don't have anything we really need so we didn't want to register, but my in'laws said well the whole family has bought gifts for the others married off so either your register for things you want or you'll get things you don't want.. So we will probably register at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I have a post on here will all the registry items I think everyone should have. ) I can find it for you if you like.. but we won't probably post our registry info anyway, we'll just tell people if they insist.

Good Morning Ladies, So, we have decided on the resort and day. Majestic Elegance, May 29th, 2013.. But now, what to do? Our wedding will be at the gazebo, so I plan to take chair sashes in my colors and hand fans for the guests. Also, we have opted for the free dinner at the Asadito Steak Restaurant. Should we plan a reception? We are already planning to have an AHR in Georgia once we return.. And I am really at a total loss for what to do or plan.. :-/

And if so, what are you going to get your groom? I'm thinking a nice watch would be a good gift.. But I don't know what kind. Open to any watch suggestions or anything else. )
