Aww. How awesome!!. Surely that will be enough!. I know your guests will love all the hard work you put into those invites! I lucked up on stamps as my company was going to throw out a ton of forever stamps.. All I had to do was cut them off of envelopes, it may not look very neat, but hey, who can complain with free?.. I'm taking my test DIY passport invite and RSVP postcard to my fiance this weekend. Fingers crossed he approves so I can start printing them up next week. )

Thank you!.. It feels very real, and I'm so excited and relieved to have our travels booked and we wont have to worry. Now I am working on our wedding invites. We're doing the passport invites, I'm taking my sample to my FI this weekend and see what he thinks and hopefully get them all printed next week. ) Then back to dress hunting for me and my bridesmaids. The planning, crafts, and arrangements never end.. lol..

I was just about to say the same thing.. I'm soo glad the best time we could go happened to be off-season. ) We went ahead and booked our travels yesterday. ) For my Fiance and I, we will be staying in the Colonial Suite (large balcony w/ Jacuzzi) from Monday, May 27th to Tuesday, June 4th. Here is the flight time: ATL 9:45a → PUJ 1:10p 3h 25m nonstop PUJ 2:10p → ATL 6:00p 3h 50m nonstop Total Price: $2996.32

We are not expecting any gifts, we would rather people come, but maybe we should say that in the Q&A..

I added a custom page and used the 1 picture layout. I used my map as the one picture, but then I copy and pasted the other pictures into the page.

But in the morning I'll pull up my wedding wire account and let you know which one I used.. ) I used a lot of the blank pages and created my own, I believe. But I'll let you know for sure tomorrow.

Okay, so my favorite color is pink, so of course I had to incorporate pink into my wedding attire. One of the pairs probably will not fit because I bought a size 9 in one and an 8 in the other.. Didn't know what size I needed. But once they come in, if one doesn't fit I'll give you ladies first dibs on that pair.. Here they are!..

Thanks for all the great advice!!.. I think I may do 2 pages for accomodations.. One for regular rooms and the other for the elegance club (adults only section).. One page to go, with all your great input now to make a decision...

puzzles?.. never thought of that.. What kind? Great idea about the bridal party! But we have a feeling one or two people may back out at the end, for the lack of saving money :-/ But I do plan on making a "facebook" look book type of thing to add all of the confirmed guests and a short bio, relation, etc for each person and add to the OOT bags. )

What pages are you/did you include on your DIY passport invitations? I'm wanting to add 1 page which leads to me adding 4.. So looking for good pages to include.. (need 3) So far I have the following in book order: Cover Page Picture / Bride Groom info Formal Invitation Page Resort Page Bars at the Resort and times Dining Options Dining Options 2 Children Ammenities and Services Travel Information (Our TA's info) General Information (What to wear & the weather) Schedule of Events Back Page So we have our outer cover with print on the front and back and 2 pages inside printed on front and back. What pages are yall using? )

I just created a poll about the ladies here helping me choose.. ) Our top pick Phil Steingard. (he was not available on our date) but he gave us Michael Steingard and Jamie Dimitry.. Both have worked with Phil and do AMAZING work!!.. they are from Canada, but since they do sooo many weedings at Majestic Elegance they spend a lot of time in Punta Cana and don't charge travel fee's.

We went from no photographer to trying to choose from two. Both seem to have amazing pictures and rave reviews. Both are from Canada and have worked very closey with the Amazing Phil Steingard (not available on our date). Have you booked either of these? Wanting to book with either of the two? My fiance and I are trying to decide on which room we want to stay in for our wedding/honeymoon next year. Regular Jr. Suite.. Elegance Club Jr. Suite or the Colonial with outdoor jacuzzi... Which room are you ladies planning on staying in? Also, I read that we are suppose to get an upgrade.. Do yall know if that means from garden view to beach side or the next room grade up?.. Just curious. Can't wait to hear yalls plans! )

Thanks for sharing!.. Now if only they had a way to combine flight + accomodations to find the best price. ) So far, Travelocity's rates have been the cheapest.. But today my mom actully found great rates at Costco.com though.
