Okay Ladies... I was too excited to not go ahead and share my DIY Passport Invitations... please ignore my hand cut lines.. this is just my first and I hope, last sample print. The rest will be cut with the cutter I purchased from Micheal's. First, a HUGE shout out to Ms. Tova!!! She helped me re-vamp my design, which looks AMAZING in my opinion!.. I'd still be lost if it weren't for her help. Thanks Tova!! aka ChocoTaco. ) My most favorite investment while doing this project.. My brand new printer, Canon Pixma MX892. I purchased it today from Office Depot. (Regular 199.99, on Sale for 129.99) I wont post a ton of writing, because I'm sure most of you want to see the pictures rather than me babbling.. So please feel free to add any suggestions if you would like. ( I would greatly appreciate it, as I am always looking for advice and new suggestions.)

Soo, I'm glad I waited on the printer... This week the printer is on sale for 129.99 regular 199.99. I just did a checkout order and talked with a nice man named Jay on their OfficeDepot chat.. I got the printer for 129.99 (141.69 after taxes) and he placed an order for me to have 2 free travel mugs, should arrive to my home tomorrow. (24.99 value) The MX882 is no longer available, but the Canon Pixma 892 is apparently the newer version (The one I purchased). Beyond excited to go pick it up today and test my Passport Invite!!.

You should try to DIY them.. They are pretty easy once you get started. ) And wayy cheaper than ordering them.

See the smiley face at the top when you hit reply?.. Go over to the left 3 icons to the "paperclip" that is the icon you use to share a file or document. Go over to the left 5 icons to the "picture" icon and that is the icon you will use to upload a picture. Hope this helps!.. Let me know if you have any issues. )

Oh okay.. If only kraft paper then I wouldn't worry about it.. You will def find many projects you can use it for. ) I think Grey, Purple and Ivory would look very good together!! ) I've actually seen pictures of this scheme and thought it was gorgeous!.. I'll try to find it and send to you for inspiration. )

My groom also wanted a grey suit.. But after looking at several groom/groomsmen pictures we agreed on a suit.. He swore it was grey and that's why he liked it, but I emailed the bride and just so happened it was a very like tan/beige.. ) Maybe you can sway him.. Especially since you haven't already purchased the kraft paper and you have the themes going.. Just a thought...

Tova... Same here!!!! lol.. I almost wanted to change our DW to Mexico just to have them as an option. Sigh, ( I guess I'll have to be jealous of the other brides Del Sol photos.

One would prefer a super expensive island and the other wanted a cruise.. I didn't want to be stuck on a boat for a week nor did I want my guests to pay an insance about to travel. I think our pick was def a good one with reasonable prices. ) lol.. 2star eek!.. Not in another country, no thanks. People amaze me.. lol I too have heard great things about the La Barcaza, we should look into that in a few months. ;o)

We too are trying to decide to have or not to have a reception party.. For the FI and I for 8 nights+flights was right at 3k, which we were relieved about. For dinner, we are opting for the semi-private at the steakhouse, since it's an all-inclusive resort we didn't see any sense in paying so much per person at an all inclusive resort. I'd like for us to do dancing, etc., but it will really come down to how many people will end up attending our DW in general. But we are also planning an at home reception for our friends and family that wont be able to travel to Punta Cana. I've read that some people whom choose to not do a reception, take the dancers with them to the disco that starts at 11:00, I believe.
