  1. Gorgeous ring!! ) It reminds me of my Neil Lane, so unnique. )
  2. Thanks for sharing! I was looking to buy samples from them but hadn't made up my mind.. I def will now that I see someone has good reviews on them. ) I need to get all my DIY stuff in one spot, and one house... I think my pinks and oranges haven't been matching.. YIKES!
  3. Thanks for looking all these up and sharing with me!.. ) I love the 3rd one!!!... It looks like the ones I bought, but in the color I wanted... Pink. ) I'll def have to check out JCPennys... I can't believe I didn't think of them. .My bridesmaid couldn't come over tonight, she is coming tomorrow instead..But now that I have the dress at home it is really corally and not the orange I thought.. ( If anyone is interested in any.. let me know, otherwise, back to the store they go
  4. I loved the convertibles.. But the color samples were off.. ( and my girls said they didn't have the tata's to make them look good on themselves. ( There is an Alfred Angelo floating around that I love.. It's pink with and orange sash built in, but I'm thinking they are 180-190.. and I hate to ask the girls to pay that since they will be spending all the money on travel and hotel expenses.
  5. Charlotte Russe.. ) Me either!!.. wish me luck. lol.. Maybe the colors will match and they will look better on them since they are shorter and much skinnier than me. lol
  6. I'll post a pic tonight or tomorrow and let yall know how it goes.. Quote: Originally Posted by Tulumbride2013 I can sympathize! Our BM dresses are freaking teal/tourquoise, not easy to find! I wanted torq in our color scheme originally, I too noticed those were tough to find! I haven't bought any linens thus far. Only the raffia fans wrapped in orange ribbon and I plan to purchase pink sashes.( I knew it was probably to good to be true... I have a feeling these may not match and will all be returned.. Except mine in a L, bc it's super cute to wear while at our DW week. )
  7. Ahh. I totally understand. Well best of luck to you, can't wait to see what yall come up with. ) I'd def check out a local jeweler and tell them what your interested in though.
  8. I too thought they were a little coralish.. ((( but all the orange dresses I've seen are totally off from the orange flowers I've bought. Oh yea I agree about the shortness on me.. It was too small, I needed a L and that one is a M.. None of my girls have DD's like me, so they wont be as short.. I'm going to have one of my b.maids try it on tonight and see how it looks next to all the DIY's in orange and pink that I have completed... Ugh... It's tough to find dresses when you have 4 b.maids sized 0-4 and one with a muscular build. Pink/Orange is tougher than I thought.
  9. Good Afternoon Ladies, So bridesmaid dress shopping has been tough on me.. I can't seem to find the colors that match our color scheme or a style I even like. I also hate asking the girls to pay for an expensive dress they will probably never wear again plus pay a ton of money to attend the wedding in Punta Cana.... And then I saw this dress a few weeks ago while shopping and as soon as I saw it, it reminded me of our beachy wedding...(ignore me in the 1st picture, I clearly tried on one that was a tad to small for me) I went shopping today during my lunch break and happened to walk in the store again and there were these dresses again.. they only came in sizes from S-XL so we bought all they had 3S, 1M, 1L, 1XL.. for the low cost of the dress, my mom said she would buy the dresses for all of the girls.. Fingers crossed they fit my girls and look good on all of them.. And if they are too big I'm hoping they can be taken in.. What do you leadies think of these dresses to match our pink and orange wedding?
  10. Something like this.... http://www.jared.com/product1%7C10451%7C10001%7C-1%7C40783906%7C19061%7C19061.20805.20839
  11. Have you thought of visiting the store where your E-ring came from? I'm sure they could help with getting a custom one.. I saw somewhere a wedding band with diamond bands saudered together... and the e-ring set perfectly in the middle.. I'll see if I can find a picture for you.
  12. Awesome idea Soon!... I wish I could have found these at my $1 Trees... But no luck. Those of you still looking for bags.. I got super cute ones at Old Navy for 99c and believe it or not Sallys Beauty Supply has cute reusable totes for $1. I have pictures of both on my profile in my picture album.
  13. Not sure exactly... I became a post whore so that I would reach 150. Lol. But when you comment on a thread, anytime it's updated it will show up in your subscriptions.. But I'm assuming you can add each page like a favorites or bookmark with the menus at the top of your browser. Hope this helps!
  14. Are you putting these on the Johnson & Johnson First Aid Kits? If so, I think you should use the 2nd one.. I think it will fit better on the box and will be super cute. )
  15. super cute!! Now I wished I would have held off on the first aid kits. ( Great job though, and thanks for sharing!
  16. Agreed.. Time has def flown by! I have 8 months and 10 days to go... And a whole lot of DIYs to start and finish. I finally got my invites out last Saturday. )
  17. Well Awesome! Glad I could be of some help! Can't wait to see what you come up with!! )
  18. Hehe, that was my response to my Fiance, but they have to eat. lol.... Hmm... that is actually a great idea!.. I didn't think of how to notify the guests of the welcome dinner... Either we could ask the resort and hope they don't forget... Or choose the date, time, venue for the dinner. Post it on our wedding website, tell everyone and tell everyone to remind each other... Or send out an invitation about the welcome dinner to the confirmed guests. Hmmm.. decisions....
  19. I know, I just couldn't turn down that gorgeous view after seeing more pictures.. If the guests don't like the lobster they can make their way to the snack bar after dinner.. Is that rude of me to say? I personally hate fish and only eat crab legs and shrimp, but the S&S is just breathtaking and I have heard the food is amazing. Oh my goodness!!!!... how have you managed to get your guests on board?? We are expecting maybe 30 or so, some say they are coming even people we didn't expect, but of course I'll have to wait on good numbers once my TA confirms who has booked. I'm hoping people don't wait til last minute to book... :-/ that stinks about the extra costs.. You'll just have to learn to be a frugal shopper and things will work out! ) One thing I wish I would have done for bags, even thought I love our reusable totes.... (99c at Old Navy) Paper bags! the colored ones or even the welcome to our wedding bags on OrientalTrading.com. they fold flat so easy transport and packing and they will hold enough items as a thank you gift and best of all they are cheap. Kleenex 8pk for $1, Hand sani 2 for $1, chapstick 3 for $1. all of those items can be found at dollar tree. You can go to Sams/costco and get flavour water packets, gum, and mints. remember it's the thought that counts. and to me these are items I would def want and need while traveling. I have read a ton of times Sunscreen, I know this will add up quick for you even at the price of $1. But if you can wing it I'd suggest sunscreen and aloe from the $1 tree. bottles at the resort are ranged at $10 a bottle. decorations... take your own and have friends or family not in the wedding party set this up for you. The amount of money you will save will be tremendous! I've tossed and turned it every day and realized it was our best option. the Sea & See is gorgeous itself so maybe some table runners for some color and that's all you really need. I'm buying my own sashes for the ceremony, so I will probably have someone move them to the dinner, just to get extra use out of them. WOW... that is awesome!!!!! I'm jealous!!.. My girls are all so busy it was all I could do to get 3 of them rounded up for a trip to davids bridal to look at dresses. And my most dependable one lives in my FI's state. It's tough being torn between states.. I was thinking we may just all go out the night before the wedding at ME since we will all be together..
  20. Oh no... I just lost my huge response to you... Errr... Okay Synopsis..... my thoughts for your DIY photobooth. I think since you are having you AHR at your house, you should do the following, just a thought... Have a large beach umbrella stuck in the ground (if space allows), a huge canvas as the background with a beach scene.. maybe 2 beach chairs as your props, along with the sunglasses, snorkel gear, etc. Tan sheets on the ground for sand effect. Or if you don't think your guests will want to sit on the ground just a huge canvas with a beach scene and the small props would work out perfectly. As far as your camera set up, I think it would be best to have a camera set up on a tripod and attached to a photo printer and/ or laptop. This way you can print a 4x6 photo on the spot for your guests. and you will have the photos saved on the camera memory card and/or the laptop so that you can upload them to a flicker, facebook or some sort of album for you guests to view after the event. and of course so that you can make a copy of each print and put them all in an album for you and your groom to have forever. If you go that route I highly suggest stocking up on extra toner and photo paper. Most inks you can buy with a bonus of 50 or 100 free sheets of 4x6 photo paper.
